App is Useless

CRW1948

2021 Honda CR-V Touring and HondaLink App and in car Honda Link will not communicate. App indicates that they are connected, with the exception Honda Link in car app shows Authentication Failed, try again later. App will show its connected to my car. No maintenance service appointments, nothing. It doesn’t update dashboard with info. Three month trail running out without working one day. Trash!

Never accurate

dutch046

My app shows a fuel range of 88 miles, mileage of 44,000 miles, and is unlocked. It’s displayed that information now for 20,000 miles. My tank is full, the car is locked, and my mileage is 64,000. Never updates and is basically useless for car status.

Insurance spam

mwdavis84

Hi Honda - I pay you a stupid amount of money per month to give me a service I get on my other car for free - remote control of my car from an app. Now you are spamming me nearly every day with alerts about insurance? I’m sure that insurance company is paying you more than the negative value of this 1 star review, but either way it’s really important that you know you’re a bad company and should feel bad.

Won’t connect to vehicle

Jeastburn

I have tried every combination of resetting and restarting but I can not get the app to authorize ownership of my 2022 Civic. My phone connects to the car via Bluetooth so the issue is with the HondaLink app. The app either gets stuck on the authorize screen or it says it is authorized (but it isn’t). The app is no use if I can’t connect to my vehicle. I called HondaLink customer service. They said there are lots of issues with the app but they couldn’t help and suggested I “keep trying.”

Jailbroken…

Jasz spirit

The app doesn’t even work because it says my phone is jailbroken which is it… I’m running iOS 15.1 too..

Doesn’t work with ‘17 Fit EX and iOS 15

AP in Tucson

This app used to work in my Fit on iOS 14. That is, it would connect with an HDMI cable and the phone display would show up in the car console display. (Obviously touch screen doesn’t work.) Then iOS 15 was released and this didn’t work. I just get messages on the car console saying “app not downloaded.” Bluetooth to the car works. Same Apple Lightning to HDMI cable, too. Just no remote display. I filed a support request and someone from Honda actually called and walked me through various resets and after all of it, the remote display feature still didn’t work. Maybe if Honda bothered to test the app … Anyway, the app has zero use for the Fit otherwise. I don’t need an app to tell me when to call the dealer.

Question

jess3921

Can someone tell me if I can start my 2021 accord with my phone I already have app but I don’t see a place where I can start it

I wish the features such as remote start would work on my 2021 HR-V. Disappointed…

Provides Nothing to Older Models

KnowBodyGuy

2014 Civic EX-L has no features in the app. Worthless waste of time.

Worthless…

elduderino737

I have a 2018 Honda Pilot and this app is worthless. Basically I can schedule service or see how many miles I have. Way to go Honda.
