App sad
This has worked some of the time but not consistently. Now it appears that since this last update it doesn’t work in my 2020 CR-V at all any more. The total range doesn’t update or refresh any more. Everything is kind of frozen from where it was a couple weeks ago. I read a suggestion that I should uninstall and then reinstall. I will give that a try tomorrow. Frustrating. Sometimes it seems like updates cause apps to stop working.

I loaded this app last week to a iPhone 8 for a 2016 Pilot with sensing. It indicated a recall which Honda took care of but within a week I got an email symbol on my dashboard. When I opened the email the car started to give continuous verbal warnings of low break fluid, non-functional disc brakes and a voltage problem with my battery. The dealership had changed the brake fluid and checked the battery the previous week. The dealership claimed they had never seen a HondaLink do that with no warning lights on the dashboard. Something is wrong with this app when it tells you not to use your car and how to stop it without functioning brakes.

UPDATE: someone responded telling me to call a number. The number said they don’t know how to help. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled this app multiple times. It always says “cannot load vehicle data”. The app would probably be awesome if it was working properly.

I love the system when it works, I wish this system would work consistently. It connects when it wants to, sometimes not at all. Apple CarPlay does the same thing. Sometimes it shows my phone on the phone connections list and sometimes it doesn’t. I haven’t been able to use the wireless charger since I bought my car because it will not charge my phone. It will show it start charging then stops after about 20-30 seconds. I love this car, I just wish it had less convenience issues.

Big disappointment. You can’t remote start the top trim levels( MOST EXPENSE!)on Pilot and Passport. Way to go Honda. Deleted app after free trial period ended, way to expensive. I have most everything they offer thru AAA at a fraction of the cost and things they don’t have. And AAA is reliable.

If you own a civic, this app won’t allow you to remote control your car, what a joke!

I have a 2022 Pilot Elite. The app will only allow you to lock/unlock and honk the horn. Funny thing, Honda just sent an email stating that I can remote start my Pilot (verbatim) from the Honda Link App. Still cannot. And they are trying to get me to renew. Why would I pay, if the app doesn’t work for my vehicle. My Ford and Subaru have free apps, that remote start anc provide cabin control. Very disappointing.
