Really inconsistent

I don’t know what to say. Sometimes, the app works great and other times (like now) it just doesn’t work. Please update for iOS.


Notifications don’t work. Bad product and bad app

It used to work well for first few months. But when updated to latest firmware, notifications stopped working. Tried resetting the camera 7 times but failed. Just hate the product. The app is equally bad. It just doesn’t open the feed quickly and also launching the app on LTE takes eternity.

I love the camera, but the AP is absolutely horrendous. It never works. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and it’ll work occasionally. Not worth the frustration! I’m buying something else.

The worst setup/directions/compatibility/service pretty much everything about it is JUNK. One of the worst purchases I’ve ever made. Very frustrating!


App. Is Buggy

Have used mine for a year. Was great and then it just stopped working. The camera lights up and all, but the app does not recognize it. Continues to tell me to connect to a network to setup a new camera. Even after resetting to factory default and deleting app to start fresh, it still does not work. Poor support and not user friendly.

When we came off DST camera clock did not reset with phone interface. Search yielded instructions which do not match menus in app.

A month after I bought the camera it began to show a distorted image. I call customer service and they could not fix it. I was told to send it to Panasonic to be fix. When I received from Panasonic the image was completely black, worst condition than when I sent it to be repair. Trying to set it up as well as to correct the problem using the application is useless. I still can not get it to work properly. I am trying to contact customer service again. I am not willing to pay again to return the camera to Panasonic to get it fix. I do not see why I should pay to return a defective camera from Panasonic. I am highly disappointed with the experience. I was expecting to get a camera that works not one that malfunction shortly after I bought it and it is still not properly working after having to pay to return it to Panasonic hoping to get it fix.


Needs to be fixed ASAP

Constantly crashes and leaves my cameras virtually unusable! When tapping notifications, the app never loads. When going into the app, it always freezes from the simplest of tasks! This app is completely unbearable and makes me angry thinking that I basically bought outdoor paperweights for my house.


Total Joke! Returned to Store!

They need to return to the drawing board. Camera is useless without the app and the app cannot successfully go through the set up process! It keeps going in a circle and cannot get past the country screen. Paid $75 for the camera will return to Costco. Piece of junk and no support. Seems the app was made by a 4 year old ...

I have used this camera for several months. There were no problems. Now I can’t connect to my WiFi. Reset camera. Followed steps. No way. Can not connect. Not sure if it’s this app or what but my camera is useless now. I have wasted tooooo much time. There is no one to call about it. NEVER buy KX HNC800 from Panasonic!
