Poor for the price

Does not allow you to see numbers that have been blocked Can not import a previous list of 1700 blocked numbers Even with “Premium” some of the features they touted(caller ID numbers) is limited to 200 calls after that “In App” purchasing is required.

What do I expect for nothin’? Not much, but I’m surprised how clumsy the interaction between Hiya and the phone is. Copying numbers over is a clumsy process at best, and I’d like to think an app claiming to foil robo-calls would be at least as savvy (if not more so) than the perpetrators.

Not sure yet

It's a free app. I won't pay for apps. It's basic. Its hard to know how well it works. I STILL GET Scam calls. Fraud calls. Arrest Warrant calls and IAM NOT even an American. I just have an American number. To be honest iam Sick & Tired of all the FN Scam/Telemarketers/ Fake calls Period!!!!!

No longer a good option

I downloaded Hiya about a year ago to combat spam calls and have been using the free service. For about 8mo it worked extremely well, actively flagging or blocking 90% of the spam calls that I was receiving. The last 4mo the app has degraded in quality significantly. There used to be over 200,000 spam numbers in the database.... now there are 130,000. Unfortunately I still get just as much spam... Hiya just isn’t blocking it anymore. Hiya is now flagging and blocking less than 50% of the spam calls that I receive. In fact, pretty much only “local spoofing” stuff gets flagged, which isn’t helpful because I can deduce and not answer those numbers on my own. As I said, I am now having half or more of the spam I receive slip past Hiya’s filters. I’m not sure if they’ve intentionally neutered the free app as a cash grab, if they are allowing spam call companies to pay and be whitelisted on Hiya’s lists, or if spammers are simply outsmarting the app. Long story short, Hiya is no longer doing its job and I can no longer recommend this service.

Must pay to get the key functional features

It’s not clear in the app description what is free and what is NOW monthly pay for functionality.

Really...

With all the updates all the time, it does not seem to be blocking any robo / spam callers. Still getting several a day. Plus as much as the phone companies are charging you would think they could find a way to prevent the calls.

Not working, collecting private data, and caused phone issues

Number of robo calls actually increased after installing HIYA. Even after paying for Premium, never got any info on searched numbers. Have now discovered Premium causing dropped calls from contacts.

Open & shut instantly

This app has made a huge improvement in junk calls but today I moved from iPhone 6s to Xr. It flashes open too fast to read anything. Help!

Hiya isn’t a cure for robocalls

Gemboy11

Hiya is not user friendly and it hasn’t cut down on robocalls.
