Interface very simple and intuitive. But once children are added there is no option to re-arrange them in chronological order. This missing Edit function is extremely annoying because you cannot change the birth order if you later discover that you need to add another child to some previously entered couple.

I purchased this for my computer and was able to sync but in doing so it updated to the new version and now is incompatible with the app but my two previous problems are resolved in the PC version. Unfortunately I cannot seem to update the app

The nickname "Metalsmith" is taken, because it's MINE!
Beyond frustrating! Useless. The program decided that my mother was also my fathers mother. They were the same age! Apparently there jjujjmjmjis. No way to repair this error. Nor can I repair the LONG form "is" above. FIX THIS THING APPLE!!!! Apparently nothing mac works any more!
Does not work after update.

Hard to find - But worth the search

So I did a search in the App Store using "genealogy". This app comes near the bottom of a long list that includes all kinds of apps that seem to have nothing to do with genealogy? Heredis is one of the top genealogy apps for Mac on the planet so not sure why the App Store buries it. At any rate both the Mac and iOS apps do the job. Synch between each seems flawless and I've had no issues after three years of use. Apps change and I was about to upgrade to heredis 2017 so figured I would see what was out there. Staying with heredis. I like the simple GUI on both platforms, can easily update on phone in the field, then fire up the Mac and the changes are already there. Have not had to use customer support (believe they are in France).
A Very Good Option for Mobile Genealogy

Heredis is one of a handful of options for persons who want to work on genealogy on a mobile device. It is free, it can import GEDCOM files, and can share data between iOS devices and Heredis 2017 for Mac. The developer appears to have an excellent track record and a refreshing customer-oriented philosophy.

This app is great for when you need mobile access to your genealogy data! I would love to see 2 things added if possible; a relationship calculator for 2 selected individuals, and a way to see birthdays/anniversaries for a selected date, or a list for specific date.

I've been happily using this for a couple of years and been very satisfied. However, with the last update the media uploading has stopped working. Now I can't add photos from my library.
Heredis crashes at deacon import

Hello this applications does not work. It crashes (on iPhone ios11 devices) when you try to import a gedcom file. Regards
