Wow, everything I would want out of a mobile genealogy app

This is a great app and considering it's free there is no reason not to try it. You can even edit and sync between devices so you can keep data on a phone and iPad and edit one device, then sync to the other The charting is basic, but if you want/need more on that front, I think a desktop app is more appropriate. For me, just having my tree available on my mobile devices is what I was after and this app fit the bill. Best of all no need to create an online account to use the app

Love how this app allows me to take my genealogy on the road and then syncs beautifully with the full software on my iMac. Visuals are beautiful on both the app and software. It is intuitive and easy to use.

I had been using The Master Genealogist for years through VMware and windows. When they announced they were no longer updating my old program, I switched to Heredis on my Mac, iPad and iPhone 6. Although I haven't tried the synch feature yet, the gedcom import went well. I chose Heredis because I don't want to pay for a subscription fee and when I checked their update dates, they were actively updating the software throughout 2014. Heredis is fully functional, with a nice interface on the iPhone, iPad or Mac. No worries and no regrets.

I like the app and the see of use however, when linking a relationship I do have a sister button. The brother is there but not sister. Also I could not find a way to contact the developer regarding this. Fix this and we have 5 stars.

I tried to load a 7022-person gedcom into the Branches app and it just crashed and said the file was corrupted. The same file loaded fine into the Heredis app.

What happened to the app??It was perfectly find until the April 8,2015 update.Now it's tweaking and crashing down even more....Please fix the problem..

This app is a wonderful tool to keep up and visualize your lineage- very stable, very organized, very user friendly- I'm thankful they made it available for free, and I use it all the time-

What has happened to this App? Following the last update, my data is all messed up and i cannot even access my largest Tree! Please fix this as i used to love this App.

This is the exact app I was looking for. For a someone writing a book with a very large multi generational cast this app is ideal for making sense of relationships and keeping track of characters!
