This app is so useless: 1) unable to put dates in the app to make reservations 2) need to know specifically the name of the hotel to make reservations 3) it doesn’t show the exact rewards you accumulate (I am still missing 30 reward bucks to be applied to my account) 4) it will not make reservations from the app, you will have to call the reservations number to make one over the phone, the app freezes when you attempt to make a reservation 5) I called many times and talked to many representatives many times and many times they tell me to email RLH. In other words, this is feckless app made by feckless IT people who have no clue how to make an app. Don’t tell me to email you guys because I’m still waiting for my reply

I can’t decide if I’m more disappointed in the app. Or the whole reward program... what a sham. The app doesn’t allow you to do anything Ie look at pst stay current point or anything, it keeps freezing up from the first attempt in using. The rewards program only holds your point for 6 month unlike every other program that’s one year and they don’t even tell you what it earn you. Nor do they know how to access them at the hotel branches and give a deer in the head light look when you ask about rewards. Every other hotel brand says thanks for being a loyal customer mr or Mrs.... etc.

From the time I checked in there were nothing but problems. I had previously quit due to feeling uncomfortable because of inappropriate messages from a male desk clerk and within twenty minutes of my checking in that same desk clerk was knocking on the door to my room. The room was hot and muggy so I called about the air conditioning not working and thirty minutes later the same desk clerk just walked in our room while my husband and I are laying with little clothes on as possible without a knock on the door. He rudely told us we could move to the bed by the air conditioner and slammed the door. The next morning I went down thirty minutes after breakfast started and there was hardly anything to eat. I asked for juice which I never got. Housekeeping was knocking on the door by 10:15 when checkout time wasn’t until 11. I spoke with Ron the owner for the second time about feeling harassed and unsafe and he refused to refund my money or offer any compensation at all. 6625018701

The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because Holly Cow u have a lot of bad reviews. I myself have not tried it yet but the red lion is my favorite and just that alone is worth 4 stars. Plus I absolutely love the girl with the southern accent at the Pocatello, Idaho red lion, she is the best and most hospitable person I have even encountered at any one of my stays across this great country of ours! Thank You so much!

I Signed up, but it won’t send me the confirmation email. I signed up correctly because I attempted it again and the app told me I was already signed up. I requested a change of password email, and I’m not getting that one either. Garbage if you ask me.

Horrible not only the app but the “rewards” as well. We joined being told after 7 stays we get a free night. Plus 10% off every stay. Have stayed 12 times and never received any of it! Called customer service and even though I have a login and am staring at my membership number they tell me it doesn’t exist. Many many transfers later find out free nights were taken away and never told about?? We are literally snowed into our hotel and was hoping to use our points or free night token to stay again and be safe from driving home..... but nope! Scam apps and honestly feel like the rewards program is too. Oh after 12 stays I somehow have 0 points...... thought I got 10 a stay?!

I booked a stay and was asked to join the rewards program and to also download this app. Well, the app does not show my booked stay, and when I call customer service I am told it should be showing. Not very helpful. Also, when you click on your profile for more info, the app crashes. Always. Since no updates have been made to this app for months, I assume no one cares that this app is worthless. Don’t waste your time.

Randomly signs you out, randomly quits, search feature doesn’t work unless you go into a specific motel name then by state. When you try to get rates it takes you to other places that give no rates. I don’t know if you can book a room through the app, but I’d be surprised if you could. My advice would be for the developers of this app to look into the Choice hotels app and model around that. I can search a room in a specific city, see the room rates, select my room, book and pay for it all in a couple minutes. As well as I can see my points and choose to use my points to pay for the room. UPDATE: App is exactly the same, in fact my 2 stays from this original review don’t show up. I figured I’d give it another shot for my next night out of town where I’m reserving 2 rooms. I can’t see the room rates, it’s glitchy putting the stay dates in and when it does actually work the availability button doesn’t work. It seems that when you try to view rates and availability it takes you from the app to a website that doesn’t appear to be mobile friendly. Looks like I’ll be deleting this app this time and staying with Choice for my motels if choice.
