Can’t pause, rewind, etc

I have a HD HoneRun Quatro. Unless I use a third party service like Plex, I am not able to pause, rewind, or fast forward. The text is very tiny in the guide when looking at a show’s info.

When watching TV on the iPhone X the “home bar” at the bottom of the screen is always visible. They advertise AppleTV support via Airplay Mirroring, but this works terrible with the iPhone X, as it is wider than 16:9.

Stupid Apple doesn’t want to license DRM technology. So no channels can be viewed if they are DRMed (error is unable to play channel). Which for most of the US using cable is going to hit. If you record over the air it should work great. Apple should stop being cheap and support DRM from other platforms.

I am running iOS 11 on an iPhone 7 plus with a HD homerun silicon dust network device that is operational. Probes the device and find the device which is reported as HD homerun dual. Reports no channels scan required. And that is it no buttons to click nothing it just start up screen and stops.
Lacks a channel listings view

The show only view is very limiting. Ideally one would see a channel listings view (overlaid over video) with listings going multiple days into the future. This is a standard interface and it’s missing from this app. Also, please add a way to review antenna settings from the iOS app.
Gets the job done

Far from flashy, but eventually gets the job done. Well, I've only had the DVR service going for 2 days so I hope it gets the job done. My biggest complaint is the way you fast forward and rewind. Is the only way to do it seriously tap. One tap seems to go about 10 seconds and there is no way to scrub so it's a big pain in the butt if you have to go far. Which I experienced because it didn't pick up where I left off when I did a sample recording. And it's not like YouTube tapping, which works quite well, it's a tiny bar at the bottom with a super tiny arrow at each end. I'd love to be wrong about this, but if not I really hope this is high on the list for the next update. Next would be how you set up recordings. Actually don't mind how you find them and set them so much, but it's not so user friendly to set it to record new episodes only vs all. I get it says "always" which is close to saying "record all", but the other box option is "recent". What? Why? Why not say "new episodes only" or even just "new"? Was this programmed in another country and this was lost in translation? Not to mention, checking the box is opposite of what you'd think. I do like the artwork and the search function works well. Just overall interface could use a little updating. However those can be overlooked for a while if it's reliable. We shall see.
