Quit working

Crewmax42

Had it working on my iPhone. Today “no devices found”. But, my other devices work o.k.. And the message says “HDhomrun”. Yes, it is spelled that way. Hackers?

Wish i could chromecast it

daafies

Is chromecast not possible on a local network? Too bad

Servio Issue

Nightmare250

Using iPad and iPhone you can’t delete any dvr show. I need to use my laptop to delete the shows once I watch it.

Downrating, falls WAY short, no fixes, not listening to feedback about PIP

acrisis

1) fix the no device found bug ... my iPad is on the same wifi network as the device, it is the only thing my iPad does, stay at home on wifi, do not force me through 12-24 retries, force close the app, bla bla ... frustrating as all get out ... works on ethernet, not wifi?? 2) multitasking, picture in picture, slide in ... OK, we are 2019. Other TV apps have done this for YEARS, iOS can do it, please figure it out. Let me have a thumbnail of live tv from HD HomeRun on the news, weather, some tv show ... while I do whatever other browsing in Safari, use Discord, ... Same for the kitchen ipad, watch the news while cooking, switch to recipe, yep, no more news ... and then good luck trying to reconnect 3) Stop with the Black Screen for 5 secs whenever I (try to) switch channels, or do ANYTHING ... open app, switch channels ... constantly makes me think the app crashed, wifi network died, the antenna is not aimed right ... just hold it where you are, provide some kind of message ... switching tuner to new channel, while leaving the channel guide up ... leave something on screen! instead of this same black screen that is going go tell me “ no device found “ or “ no ... “

Device not detected??

htaddicted

I can’t use this app at all. There is nothing except this message of No device detected even though I can access tuner on the network by the IP address. iOS 12.0.4. It used to work while back possibly on 12.0.3 or 12.0.2 just fine but not now.

FINALLY!

Glad to dump those expensive apps like Eyetv (worst), Channels, and InstaTV. Have had NONE of the problems reported in other reviews, works flawlessly and seamlessly on my phone, ipad and desktop Macs. Simple, elegant, and easy to use. Recommend highly as is the perfect counterpart to my 2 SiliconDust HDHomerun wifi tuners.

Great Device Terrible Apps

yochannan

Both on iOS and Mac I can’t figure out why I get “NO CHANNELS / SCAN REQUIRED “, the website doesn’t offer any clues, looked in the faq’s to no avail. Instead, I continue to use the app called INSTATVPRO (costs $12 and worth every penny) and have nothing less than a fantastic experience using it with my HDHomerun device; furthermore, this app (hdhomerun) requires iOS version 10.3, where the INSTATVPRO app runs on my older devices way down on iOS 6 on iphone and 5.1.1 on my iPad first edition. Am I missing something?

Poor

Pez72

If I could give this a negative rating I would. App does not work on iPad, iPhone, or Mac Pro computer. Customer support is nonexistent. No app for Apple TV. Only works on home WiFi network. Why on earth would I want to stream my live television to my phone when I am at home? Buy the 3rd party channels app instead. Channels works flawlessly and has an app for the Apple TV.

Best game ever!

cbeecham

I’m really good at this game. I open it and it just starts playing! All by itself! Guide works and looks great. Streaming works and looks great. Just open > tap > play. It’s as simple and addicting as Pong was. Genius! Yay! Yay! Yay! I win! Alright!

So Close.... But So Far...

OneGuyInCA

Have tried InstaTV Pro... didn’t work. Crashes often and couldn’t get a stable stream. Found this app... looks promising. It’s free and developed by Silicone Dust. Plus it’s free! Works very well on my iPhones (6 and 8) and not on my 2017 iPAD Pro? Come on really?!?! Streams smooth on some channels but freezes all too often (once every 5 seconds or so) on others. Audio is fine but the video just freezes. Even tried factory restoring but same thing. My setup at home is more than sufficient. Homerun Primes (2 of them) are connected to a Gigabit Network. Wireless access points (Ubquiti AP PRO) is 2.4 plus 5Gz... combined of 1200Mbps. Any thoughts on troubleshooting Silicon Dust???
