I'm a HUGE fan of Big Fish games and will buy without even doing the free part first...they are THAT good. I've only been disappointed 2x in the 50+ games of theirs I've played so far! This is a really good one, but knowing what quality work they do, it's not one of the best ones. If I could have done 4 1/2 stars, I would have.

Haunted Legends Dark Wishes - St. Germaine is back!
Dracyy

Fans of the series (which also play as stand alone games) will be thrilled to see that pesky little Saint Germaine is back and causing more trouble! ERS did a fabulous job on this installment! Transporting indicated map, labeled inventory, awesome storyline, customizable difficulty level. Collecting birds, you get a magic staff to help you as well as the Fates. Looking for the philosophers stone and to save your students from Vox and his twisted ambitions. I would write more but I have to get back to the game I've got a Vox to catch!

Coulda been great...
THE Rubellia

Very amateurish, sorely lacking polish. Been playing for an hour now hopefully it will get better, but I have my doubts. The poor English is also annoying (I have never heard of a goating have you?). The devs had no love for this game while they were creating it and it shows. Controlling game is difficult as well. Very off kilter when trying to move and touch objects. I paid 3.99 for this ON SALE!!! COME ON BIG FISH MAN UP!!

I wish this game would never end! It's a great game. Good hints, transporting map, interesting puzzles and hidden object games, and, a good story. 5 stars for this one, for sure.

I'm Not So "Haunted" By This One! I "Wish" This Was Better!

You are a Professor of Mage; and your friend and former pupil, Roberto, gives his fiancé, Lucia, a pendant known as the "Philosophers Stone" on their wedding day. As he is writing to you requesting assistance, an evil manifestation comes for Roberto and appears to have killed him. Lucia finishes the letter and asks you to come to Florence "asap" to help investigate the incident since she is accused of his murder. What role does the villainous Vox play in all of this? This game has some fun elements, such as using a magic staff to absorb energy to gain parts of the story. You also use a travel portal to instantly take you to your destination. The graphics are gorgeous, crisp, and clear, as usual in this series; and the artwork is embellished with well-drawn scenes to intricately portray a realistic environment. I've said before that I love to traverse through old European villages around winding streets with shops and alleyways to explore. There is the ability to customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; you start to manipulate items quite a few scenes in. The teleporting map is not beneficial in that it is sluggish and does not indicate objectives or available actions in custom mode; it only lets you know that a scene is not complete. Transition between scenes is also delayed by several seconds. There is no journal, but you read numerous snippets of info in the form of cards, notes, letters, etc., to keep you updated on the story. The recycled HOS started out as mainly word lists with some interaction, but they became more varied further along. You had to match pairs of items and find the numbers as well. Unfortunately, you do not have the "find and use" type that "Curse of Vox" had. I thought there was a glitch in one where you dip a brush in red paint to paint a flower but the brush would not dip in; you need to touch the rose first and then the brush to complete the action. The puzzles are easy but redundant; many are the type where you swap or slide tiles or other items around. You collect pigeons in some locations, and some are well-hidden. The extras include replay of puzzles and HOS, photos, and other usuals. I gave this game three stars because it seemed outdated and transitionally glitchy. There was not enough variation for the puzzles. In addition, the map had no indicators although I was able to find things to do on my own. Just to let you reviewers know, Artifex Mundi has some games on sale right now at a discounted price of $2.99. I suggest playing either "Eventide: Slavic Fables" or "Dreamatorium 2." They are both great games with many components that you all love. Go check out some reviews and have fun!

Much too short
Drosietwo

St Germaine is back and up to his old tricks. I enjoyed the game, but it was much too short, and the bonus game was nothing special. It did have a good map and hint system, and customizable difficulty, however the game play was quite linear and the touch was difficult at times. Not a bad game, but not one of my favorites.

WOW
Listen to rachel

Loved it!! Completely customizable and it gives you a choice in many of the mini games to play an easy mode or hard one. I really like that. Tons of fun and some of the puzzles are fairly challenging. Thank you, ERS for another winner!

Just o.k.

Finished with no problems - I thought the hidden object scenes could have been better and more challenging. Had a transporting map, however didn't even need it. Found the game too easy and short. Lots of interactive things to do but was disappointed in the adventure. Thanks anyways, just not my cup of tea. KdBoots

Purchased and stared to play the game. For 3 minutes it was great. I got to where the Professor saw the bride being taken away in the wagon and the entire game went black. I cannot even restart the game. Lost 3.99..., second time Big Fish in 3 weeks I lost money on games freezing. I think you really need more testing for these games before you put them up for sale. Very disappointed.
