Our company manages student housing property so all of our move outs occur on the same day. Before Happy inspector, we’d not only have to walk all 348 units within a day but then spend the next week uploading pictures to our server, sorting photos, labeling photos, creating inspection reports, etc. This year’s move out was a breeze. Extremely pleased with the flexibility, simplicity and customer support. I have several multi family buildings and was looking for a program that would enable me to punch list apartments for security deposits, turnovers, contractors and regular inspections. This app allows me to make notes, take pictures of the damage or defect, add rooms, modify categories and instantly email the report. Saves time and money. Very anxious to see updated version coming shortly.

I own my own small management company with 10 properties. I looked at this program to replace the current checklist system I use for my weekly walk-thrus. I was able to create a list for one of my smaller properties fairly quickly. There were a few things that I would like to have changed and maybe could have but I couldn't figure out how, but that wasn't the big issue so I'm not going to spend time on that. The issue was when after I created a new checklist and wanted to email it to my client, I discovered that each time the checklist is converted into a PDF, it takes 1 credit. You get five credits for free, but after that, it cost $16.99 for 10 credits. So every week, I would have to buy 10 credits at $16.99. Or, I would spend almost $900 a year. I'm sorry, but you aren't taking that much money from me. So close.

I use this app for periodic inspections and I love it. It keeps me organized, allows my support staff to see what maintenance items need done as I copy them when i send a report to my Owners. Owners love the professional PDF report that I email them with pictures attached. Yes, you have to pay for the PDF conversions, but its an added service to my Owners that is well worth the price.

I love it. Yes there are some bugs. I prefer this version than version 2.0 by far. Report layouts much nicer, prettier, less friction points in the process to generate. I would like a setting to have images appear against line items rather than send them to the appendix. No big deal though. At least images are in the report. Skitch integration? Blow me away and let me export from Skitch directly into happy inspector photo library? Wish list at least. Being able to shift section areas, re-ordering would be great to. Yep, V2.0 does this but I think this version is much better than V2.0 and all the web interface required to view, generate reports. Great start, keep up the great work.
