Works terrible on Fire TV

Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, commercials have double sound, movies quit in the middle….fix this! All other apps work great but this one!!! Also, wants me to login every single time I use it!!!!! Hate the app. Love the movies I now can’t watch.
Constantly freezes and crashes

Will play several commercials, then freeze and crash on the actual movie. Very frustrated, and cannot fix by deleting and reloading the app or restarting the movie. Do not develop an app if you cannot maintain it to work properly. 11/27/21 Update - Utterly useless on Roku - cuts off ends of all the movies. On Roku it plays but cuts off the end of movies by automatically booting a new film on auto play (that you have not chosen), and you are not allowed to opt out. I have clicked every button there is and checked settings trying to shut off the auto play to watch the “credits” (aka last few minutes of actual movie) at the 10 second warning and it boots other movie anyway. Doesn’t seem to have any issues showing the many many commercials though. And since FF is disabled, I get the joy of trying to watch the same film twice in real-time to catch the ending. Of course these “errors” never seem to affect the endless commercial breaks. My guess is your commercials are making films run longer than 2 hours on streaming - even though they have about 80 minutes of actual content, at which point the auto play kicks in thinking the film is concluded. Deleting until this nonsense is fixed, also not patronizing any sponsors until then or watching on the channel.

Should be able to pay for the app instead of having to have a cable company to go thru. We have Hulu. But also like hallmark can’t watch any movies
App stops playing

The app on Firestick will all of a sudden stop playing a show and go back to the main menu repeatedly. Very frustrating. Fortunately, I also have the app on Apple TV and it doesn’t do it. App is great other than this flaw. Please fix.
App cuts off last few minutes of the movie!!

Can’t Finish a Movie

I am on board with all of the other reviewers. This “update” is awful! I will watch a movie and when there is 10 minutes left in the movie a pop up window will appear in the bottom right of another movie starting in 7-6-5 seconds… First off I am watching a recorded movie so there should be no reason for another movie to start. Secondly, I have tried everything to pause it, stop it, get out of it, but everything I try kicks me out of my movie - and worst off, as everyone else has stated, there is no way to get back in where I was and there is no way to fast forward through a Hallmark movie so I end up missing the last 10 minutes of every movie! Please fix this app - as you can see from the many comments, this is a frustrating app to watch and we deserve better.

I love Hallmark, but with the latest update… when a movie comes almost to its end, another movie cuts in before the original movie’s ending. Nooooo fun! ??

I always watch the premieres on Monday when they are available on demand instead of sitting up late to watch them live. This week, something has changed and the app has begun loading another title in the last 3ish minutes of the movie I’m watching. I’ve tried every key on my remote to keep it on the title I’m watching instead of automatically loading the next movie but nothing works. It’s like they’ve begun some kind of auto load feature but the timing is off! Super annoying. I’ve missed the ending of 3 movies before I finally gave up altogether.

Again why doesn’t the new episode load and play? Always shows and error message. Very annoying. Not worth the download. How is this app still rated so high?! No one loves it. Read all the reviews!!! You have a lot to fix hallmark. Pls do it. Annoying!!!!! Also why why why why can’t you forward through any of the movies? Sometimes you can’t watch it all in one setting. And it restarts from the beginning. I don’t want to rewatch from the beginning. Very very annoying.

I was watching a movie and at the end it started to change before it was over so I trued to make it stop and it exited out of the movie. When I went back to it it started the movie over and would not let me fast forward. I am so upset that I did not get to see the ending of the movie. Hallmark needs to fix this issue!
