Simply Amazing

bmzimmerman

I'll write a more extensive review once I level up more and experience HS more fully. Until then, know that this game is amazing and is everything I've ever wanted from a mobile game. With that being said, I've got one tiny suggestion for the devs: Landscape UI probably would be relatively trivial to implement, but it would mean a lot to those players who feel more comfortable using their phones in different orientations. (Perhaps an in-game setting to lock in portrait, lock in landscape, or autorotate would be handy so as not to rely on the device's software orientation lock?)

Very Good

But need some balance change for module, many of them are not useable.

Exactly what I was looking for

A great strategy game based around efficiency where you explore your very own galaxy to colonize planets, eliminate enemies and build a fleet to scavenge artifacts from dying red star galaxies. Join a corporation and get into some co-op pvp against other corps in white stars. Awesome progression, tons of modules to customize your fleet and great developers that are dedicated to keeping Hades’ Star far from being p2w. My best comparison would be 2d mobile EVE online. Except instead of outfitting and managing one ship, you manage a galactic civilization and a fleet.

Great game but has room for improvement

christosb

This game is great but it needs more varieties of ships like examples being... Fighter lightly armored high damage and fast(level 3 shipyard) Support ships 50/50 on armor and damage but has only 2 mods you can install.(level 4 shipyard)

Not playing the game is more rewarding

a hesitant fan

This is a fun concept and well implemented, but the credits and hydrogen need to be better balanced. I started playing the game last night, and as far as I can tell, until I build more ships and upgrade my planets and facilities, I can really only afford to play this game for about an hour or less per day unless I want to start using real money, which I absolutely do not. The rate I collect hydrogen and the rate I collect credits from trade or research seem just a little bit too low, especially considering the time it takes just to do all of that and the fact that I already paid a dollar to get this game in the first place. Do you want me to play your game or not? As it is, I think I’ll just -not- play the game for a few days to allow my credits and hydrogen to accumulate. Doesn’t really make sense to incentivize not playing the game, but that’s what they’ve done here imo.

Unquestionably Fun

I’m so glad I started playing this. I was instantly hooked. Love the graphics, patience is required. Very satisfying.

Great game!

Badcapn

In 10 years of using an iPhone I have never written a review, so this is big for me. This game is incredible, with great long term playability. Great, active, and helpful community. Also great is the amount of time you can play while waiting hours for upgrades, which is above other games of this kind. Also, it has a simple learning curve, and simply asking people for help will benefit you greatly. 15/10!!

Love it!

Fun and easy to learn.

The best game that I’ve been looking for

This game is totally amazing and I never want to stop playing it.

A Fantastic Strategy Game

Ender911

So I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one for this game. While I have not progressed far enough to participate in the ultimate white star battles, I have watched a few of them to have an excellent understanding of the game. First, this is a long term strategy game that is something you can either choose to micromanage for resources, or play a couple of times through out the day. In your home system, you will explore your universe, colonizing worlds, harvesting hydro for fuel, upgrading your fleet and battling a few NPC ships. Here the strategy comes in on how best to use your fuel, and when and what to spend your money on. You’ll progress to exploring Red Star systems, which are only last 15 minutes until their star goes nova, obliterating anything left behind. You will work collectively with other players to try and destroy the enemy fleets and harvest the valuable artifacts from the planets. But beware, players don’t necessarily have to be fair in the harvesting of these artifacts and may turn on one another to get the best loot possible. You’ll join a corporation, a clan or guild of sorts, who will be able to help you with red star missions without having to worry about the random coy player in the public missions. Here you will also gain access to the ultimate strategy game, the white star missions. Taking place over a couple of days, two corporations fight to bring back the most artifacts. Here, players ships not only engage in PvE, but PvP too. For tips when starting out, search for the wiki on the net. Lots of players have added valuable information that makes the game less daunting in the beginning.
