This app literally changed my life

I downloaded Habitica because I was having difficulty remembering my plethora of tasks at work. I looked around for task management software and found a few, but nothing really helped. Then I saw Habitica's ad with the rogue and the witch doing homework and yoga, and I downloaded the app immediately. To my delight, it is even better than I was anticipating. To my delight, I take that extra minute to send that last email, because in doing so I receive XP and gold! My productivity has increased drastically, and I no longer forget to complete tasks in my fast-paced work environment. I originally downloaded Habitica thinking it would be something I'd only use at work, but Habitica has also really helped me improve in the realm of self care. I now schedule those doctor's appointments. I reorganized that closet. I cleared out my wardrobe and donated lightly used items. I cooked dinner four out of five nights last week. I floss now. Yes. I floss. I am going to start meditating as a daily. And you know what? I'm actually going to do it. Because I really want to complete my collection of multi-colored, adorable 8-bit pets. I love this app. I recommend it to everyone I know. You won't regret this download. It changed my life.

I have been looking for an app that lets me have multiple ways to checkmark things on my todo list and I have found the perfect one. Not only does it have a todo section, but it has a daily section (which will reappear each day), and a habits section (which gives you +/- points depending on if you are choosing a good or bad habit). I love that each task lets you have a section inside that is a "checklist". This makes it so on the outside you can see "2/10 completed", which helps for larger projects. Honestly I recommend downloading this. If you end op not liking it the worst that happens is you have to delete it off you devise. But I don't think you will want to do that. It's fun in that it is RPG style meaning you have a little person and they get upgrades (I guess they can go on quests at some point? I'm not that far into exploring yet). Even if you don't care about this part of the app it is still a brilliantly made app.

I often become addicted to video games and "gamifying" my life has made me so much more productive. This app is genius. The social aspect and the community are so great! I also absolutely love the challenges. They really motivate me to try new things or finally work on something that I've been putting off. Possibly what motivates me so much are progressing in the game and buying the rewards. However, I was really sad to learn that eventually you can buy all of the equipment and then you must rely on personal rewards that you create yourself. Personal rewards don't work as effectively for me. Perhaps you'll consider adding more in game rewards. I would even be willing to spend gold on a house for my character and furniture to decorate it with even. But regardless this app is amazing and I see myself continuing to play it well into the future. Great job!

no complaints, except i think we should have the ability to organize the order of our daily tasks (to sync them with the order that we do them in reality). otherwise good app, 5/5
So many bugs!

The new update has so many bugs. It crashes every time I click on a task. My health and mana frequently drop to zero for no reason. I used to love this app but now I can't even use it.

This newest update causes the app to crash every time I feed a pet, and will randomly tell me I've died when I'm not close to death.

Habitica helps me get things done every day. I love dressing up my avatar and raising cute pets while I complete chores and tasks. Earning fake gold for real work is surprisingly rewarding.

MAJOR bugs. Within the last 20 minutes of use I've noticed that 1) whenever I try to feed pets the game glitches and crashes 2) when I purchase something, code text is visible where regular text should be.
New update is terrible

I love this app, but the new update is terrible. It keeps crashing, telling me I've died when I have plenty of health left, not letting me use my skills, telling me I'm not in a party, not updating, and not letting me check off tasks. If these bugs don't get fixed soon, I'm going to have to stop using this app
