Crashing!

TakeABreath :)

Ever since the update I haven't been able to use the app!

Latest iOS update crashes on load

RedClaw42

Well, the latest iOS app update crashes a few moments after load, every time. Sure am glad I updated...

Great app, awful update

I love Habitica and find it super helpful and motivating, but the new update crashes nonstop. Super frustrating.

What happened

Treyola the crayola

With its new update its not working on iOS. It shuts down whenever I try to do anything with it. Even f I just leave it open it shuts down. It's a great app before but now it's just a lil broken. When they fix it it'll be awesome again

Newest update crashing - iOS

Loughaire

Please fix! I need my Habitica! My favorite and most essential app, and the best motivation out there. BUT the most recent update crashes within a few seconds of opening, without fail. Please please fix soon - I really enjoy and benefit greatly from using it. I've done lists. I've tried sticker charts. I've tried contingent rewards. Nothing got me more consistently to do things I need to get done than this app. I am motivated to do my chores, eat healthy, work out, and even use healthy coping strategies for anxiety. Whatever needs done, I am more motivated than ever to do those things because I get experience and health for my avatar, level up, find items, and hatch pets.

Great way to gamify your life!

I create therefore I am.

UI on iOS is much nicer than desktop browser version! Latest update fixed some occasional crashes I encountered.

I remember when "Habit RPG" first got its mobile app, and wow getting back into this site now that it's been two years, the improvements are outstanding! I've always loved the website and have contributed to it in the past, but now the app has a ui that is just as good! Makes daily task-slaying that much simpler! Can't gush enough about habitica!

Achievement Unlocked: Become a Better Person

I can't say enough how much this app and website have changed my life. For the last few weeks since I got the app, I've been talking about it nearly non-stop... And for good reason. I've struggled for at least 12 years with self discipline and motivation, and no matter what, no organizational apps have been able to keep up with me and my needs. But this is set up perfectly to help me just the way I need. It gives me tangible things to work towards accomplishing, with more of a reward than the sense of accomplishment of checking something off. It helps me to see the progress I've made and break things down into manageable tasks, to sort them in ways that are logical to me, and to take hold of my life day to day as well as in the long term. I've nearly all but broken one of my longest standing bad habits, and the dailies allow me to make sure I'm getting done the small things each day that I might otherwise forget in the midst of a schedule that changes dramatically day to day. The app doesn't have quite as much functionality as the website, in terms of not having quite as many little goodies, and there are the occasional glitches. But on the whole, the main functionality of the app, where the task management is concerned, functions exactly as it should, and that's what matters the most. I definitely recommend using it concurrent with the website interface, as some of the other aspects function a bit better there. But on the whole? The experience is incredible no matter where you use it. I'd say this app may not be for everyone, but since starting to use it, I've gotten my family into using it, and they've in turn spread it to their friends... So that's people anywhere from their mid-50s to as young as high school all finding the benefit in it. So maybe it's not for everyone... But I think everyone should at least give it a try before deciding it's not for them, because the appeal is pretty universal.
