So unreliable, impossibly behind in features

CodyMcG94

If you ever plan to keep all of your tabs, even in the progress of creating them, you must save, favorite AND email them to yourself constantly! About a year ago, the app had a huge update, and wiped EVERYTHING of mine. Many years of guitar riffs down the drain. So, I learned my lesson, and instead of relying on Guitar Pro to have a Cloud Save Feature, which it doesn’t, I send the tabs to myself when they are done. But as of today, even THAT is not enough to keep this thing from wiping out HOURS of work! Today, without closing the app, without any explanation, about an hours worth of tablature just disappeared. The app didn’t crash, I simply went to another tab. Came back a second later, and poof! Gone! I’m so over this app, but unfortunately it’s the industry standard. For years they’ve needed to add a multi track feature, which is why I had to switch tabs in the first place (for a distorted guitar track), and they have yet to improve hardly an inch of quality or features. I own Guitar Pro 6 on my laptop, I’m a customer for a product that has more features! But, the sound on the Computer pales in comparison to the tones I get with the phone. So I prefer the phone. I’m so f****** done with this s***

Great for Beginners.

Mr. iJ

I have this on my PC and it does more than what I can use it for. I compose on my PC and transfer all my files to my iPad / iPhone and use them for my Fretlight, plus carry them with me wherever I go so I can Bluetooth to other devices.

doesn’t save your songs

alec57cela

this app is brilliant except for the fact that it doesn’t save the majority of your tracks. you’ll spend hours working on a song, just to reopen it and it only save the first few measures. very disappointing. i want my songs back :(

Amazing

That’s what i want

Absolutely USELESS! I want a REFUND!

NEGATIVE 5 STARS!!!! Pointless app. Nothing like the app you get when on a PC or a Mac. Was hoping i would be able to import songs from Ultimate Guitar like the good old fashion way and its impossible. You’re not even able to transcribe your own scores. DO NOT BUY THIS. And hey DEVELOPERS, PLEASE GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!

Works as described

Most of the negative reviews are because the operators neglected to read the description of the app. While you cannot compose within the application itself, it has many other uses. I use it to review my writing while I’m on the go and practice my songs in comfortable location. The only complaint I have is the sound quality is very poor and it doesn’t seem like some of the effects that I can use in GP7 translate to the mobile version. Overall, this app works as it is stated in the description and I am happy with my purchase.

Solid app to create and open up GP/GPX files

davideacosta

I’ve been using the app daily to create tabs. I love it. It has almost all music composition and guitar techniques (triplet feel, harmonics, bends with fraction ratios). You can export your creations into a PDF, GO or GPX file. I just wish for a grace note function. I have one issue with the app. My progress is not saved sometimes. I’ve worked in a project multiple times and when I return none of my work was saved ??

Great app to view files created in the full version.

Greatyyyyyyyyyy

This app is limited in its ability to create files. You should just consider it to be a viewer. I teach guitar and create the content for my students to view. For this purpose, this app is indispensable to me. However, it is only as good as the file it is viewing. Best to use it to view quality content as you would find on bis man jams.

Not the Guitar Pro I know

Bderiso

i, like many others, was fooled by this lame app riding on the coattails of an awesome software line. Please, do what it takes to make this a decent multitrack composer.

iPadOS vs. downloaded tabs

NoniReyes

How do I open downloaded tabs in iPadOS ? Pre-iPadOS , downloaded gpro tabs just open up automatically with Guitar pro. Now, I find the downloaded tabs in iCloud and I don’t know how to open them.
