Almost Useless now
StitzieJ

I can no longer import files from a browser into the app. This wouldn’t be a big deal, but now when I download a guitar pro file and try to import it from my files into the app, the app crashes every time. The app is now unusable for me except for when I’m on the go and thought of a riff that I can put in to remember or to access files I’ve had prior to this issue. Not worth the price at this point. Please fix as this app has lots of potential being wasted!

Embarrassingly bad app
EugeniusTheGreat

Absolutely useless. Crashes all the time. Doesn’t open saved files. Worthless excuse for an app.

Parentheses on “missed downstrokes”
ShelC2001

I’m a guitar instructor and I’m doing online lessons. I’m having all my students purchase the app. The one issue I have so far is that the parentheses on “missed downstrokes” does not get exported to the app when I send them the gpx file from my computer.

You cannot edit drums on the mobile app!
murdercrase

This is good for writing down guitar ideas but is useless for trying to flesh out full song ideas. Right now as it is it’s not useful for creating music

Latest app update (28 Oct 2015)
Jbzz01

Love this app for what it does. It makes complex parts easy to learn for me, but I’m leery of updating it again. The last two times I’ve updated it, I’ve lost all of the files that I had saved in the app. Really makes me not want to hit the update button....

Pretty pathetic considering I paid for this app.

I demand the full version and not a lite version.

Seen that it had low reviews, but thought maybe the dev fixed issues.
Thirdnail

I downloaded thinking that the developer may have fixed issues and was giving it away Free in the App Store to get the ratings back on track, and I respect developers who do that! But this is a limited free use of app (WITH A LOGIN) login would be okay if the app would STAY free, but this seems more of a gimmick than honestly giving users the app without limited time and logins. Uninstalled!

Seems pretty buggy
T.A.B.

I downloaded the app yesterday and put a couple of hours into fiddling with it. Although I love the idea of the app, it has proven to be frustrating. First, I signed into the associated music service (which itself was a buggy experience from my iPad). Once I finally got it all working, I spent a good hour going through the song list and adding to my favorites. Once I had a good fifty songs, or so, I was pretty happy and looking forward to learning some new tabs. My iPad went to sleep, as it does after a period of time. When I woke it up, all of my favorites were gone. Zap. No record of that hour I spent. What a PAIN! This evening I opened the app on my iPhone and somehow navigated to an offer for all of the top Guns’nRoses riffs. ‘That will be fun’, I thought. I clicked on the first tune and I was instantly transported to a completely separate page with everything in French! I kid you not. I still can’t find my way back to the GNR tabulature offer. Only one day in, and I am already frustrated. A good idea for an app that needs some intuitive help and maybe a bit more time on the oven.

It’s pretty awesome to have Guitar Pro on iPhone
<-Asmodeus->

The desktop app is a must have for guitarists, and I love having this iOS version for when I’m not next to my computer, and need to access my GP files. It’s not as polished and quite limited, but it does it’s job and does it well.

Very disappointed
hybrid_prepper

I was really excited to try this, but was very disappointed. Limited composition tools and only one track per composition does not bode very well. Well it may be nice if you have a melody or riff playing in your head and want to get it down, we have GarageBand and a pen and paper for that. Feeling ripped off!
