Too Short!
Jensledge

I finished the whole game in a little over an hour. Wayyyy too short and simple. A big waste of money. Good graphics and story but seemed like 1/4 of the usual big fish games

The Not So "Grim" News: I'm "Destined" To Love This Series!
KimTwilight69

As I always let you reviewers know, some great new games came out in the last two days from our favorite developers. 1. As I stated in my last review (Spirit Mystery- original review came out on May 16 and mysteriously disappeared), Alawar released a game entitled, "World Keepers: Last Resort" at the price of $2.99. Check out my review, which is already out. You might want to purchase the outright version to avoid the onslaught of ads in the free version before unlock. Fun game! 2. Artifex Mundi just released their new one entitled, "Tibetan Quest: Beyond the World's End". It is currently on sale for $2.99; and after this week, it will increase in price. It has a nice Asian theme for a different vibe, as well as many good features. Check out those games asap! Have fun! Updated from above May 19 review: We return to the Gray family, and you play Auntie Gray who has the ability to time travel back to the past to change another's destiny. You are informed that the remains of your niece's parents have been discovered after they went missing twenty years ago. All evidence leads to a serial killer, Greg Duffy - otherwise known as the Roadside Killer; and you set out to save them. The graphics are a disappointment; unlike previous installments, I found them to be on the muddy side and not sharp or crisp. You can customize your settings, and the inventory is labeled and interactive. The teleport map indicates your objectives; and here you can view your diary, collectibles, and achievements. The diary records nice story progression, which is becoming more rare these days. You have a task pad that regularly updates. The HOS are quite innovative and varied; you have word lists with interaction and silhouettes. Another type is a scene that takes place in the sheriff's office using relative items. You play a tape recorder while listening to narration as you find items in accordance with highlighted spoken words. The puzzles are varied; one type is to move a plane through a board creating a path in a given number of moves while avoiding obstacles. You collect well-hidden morphing objects in the locations, as well as some cameos of the characters within the family. A secret room is among the extras. I deducted a star because the graphics were less than par, and the game might be short. However, I love the story along with the other strong components. I recommend it!

An okay game
Wiki-lover

I bought it on sale for $3.99, so I'm rating it based on that. So far, so okay. Not the best BF game I've ever played, but VERY far from the worst. No glitches, everything works (except for one "trace this symbol" puzzle) a functional map, items identified in the inventory (if you've ever played a game that doesn't, you know what I mean) and a zoom function in the HOSs. A simple easy-to-follow story and sensible puzzles. Like another reviewer said, the game is rather short. I would feel cheated if I paid full price.

Sew Up the Threads of Destiny

Heard about a major plane crash on the TV news today, and then I got this game! Your friends escaped the plane crash only to be slain by the Roadside Killer. Luckily, you have the ability to Time Travel and change the outcome -- or do you? This is an Elephant Game, so the controls like Hint, Skip, Info, and Strategy Guide work well. You are also collecting Morphing Objects in each scene. This becomes a bit more challenging when you are in locations like a garage, a dark alley, or a campsite. I am enjoying it, but, since the people are all "frozen" in time, it comes off as a bit cold and impersonal. I can't stop playing it, despite that!

Boring!
Trixie:-)

This game is not as fun or as interesting as other games the series. Big disappointment.

Good game...but
Barky196

I really like the a Elephant game offerings. They are pretty much the only ones I buy anymore. Great graphics, not dull and fuzzy/muddy like others (yes, you, Elefun!). I'm deducting one star because the flame trace the path does not work. Otherwise, another masterpiece from Elephant!

Fun game - too short!
PookieM

This game is so much fun!! The story line was interesting and I loved the different layers of the story. The graphics were beautiful. Puzzles/HOPs were challenging. The game is too short otherwise I would have given the game 4 stars.

Not worth it!!
Joznjayne

I have enjoyed a lot of the grim tales games but the last 3 (this one included) have been too short and not as good as the previous games. I'm super disappointed and do not think I will be wasting any more money or time on this series!!
