After using the machete to cut the vines in chapter 3 it goes away, preventing me from advancing because the machete is needed in chapter 4 to cut a branch. I hope there’s a fix for this soon. $6.99 is a lot of money fora game, especially one that I can’t play.

I've played all of the Grim Tales games and this one was by far my favorite!!! It's got everything I look for in a HOAG and then some! Go ahead and buy this one, you're gonna love it!!

Another good one from Elephant Games. Great teleporting map, hint button and HOS. Some of the puzzles seemed a little weird and had to skip, but overall a beautiful game.

Greetings, Gamers: ? Elephant Games always triumphs with their splendid graphics and presentation effects. In those regards, they are hands down, the best. But it kind of ends there for me. The detective angle was somewhat interesting but got tedious after awhile. It just seemed too drug out. I too had fits with the touchy map but got the hang of it: when you tap a spot to jump to, tap again at the question mark, not at the location picture that pops up. It may not get you where you want to go every time, but it'll keep you out of that stupid foyer. HOS were humdrum with repetitious lists. For some odd reason, I felt more a spectator in this game as opposed to a participant. With the trials getting shorter, it really is a gamble to fork over the dough only to find something is going to disappear from inventory or you'll encounter some other game ending glitch. Puzzle explanations weren't always thorough enough for me. That, coupled with my previous mentions are the reasons for deducting two stars. Shouts to all my fave reviewers and peeps. All the reviews were correct in saying that the trial is extremely short. The game itself however is nice and long plus a bonus chapter. This game had everything I like; A map, you can transport locations, the inventory items are marked, the hints will also transport you, you can mute the voices, hos are easy and there are not too many of them. The only issue is the puzzle directions are not clear on a lot of the games. Overall I enjoyed this game and recommended it.
Great game, but quite anticlimactic

I've played many of their games before. Either I got really good on advance, or this game was actually really short and believe me I usually never play advance. I believed I finished this in 4 hours, around there? Which in my opinion is really short. The graphics hands down is great! I enjoyed the plot, but it felt quite predictable and it was pretty anti climatic in the end. I liked most of the games because there was always some kind of plot twist, this not really. It was really straightforward.

An interesting premise, but very run-of-the-mill HOs, and touching objects and the maps was very finicky - lots of multiple taps frequently required to find the "sweet spot" for objects, and the map always wanted to take you to the same place. I'm somewhat baffled by the great reviews - this one was downright boring by the end of it.
