What's the point

Even if you check in online they still don't take you until after everybody in the store goes first

The latest great clips app update screwed up a great app. Not only does it take more steps to use, the maps are imposible to read if you do not zoom in extra close! Another case where the app designer chose style over function.

Checked in? Probably not, be sure to click on the map icon that says your checked in that says to let the people know you arrived. What's the point of this app?

This a truly awful app. Years ago, when I worked down the street from a Great Clips, I used this app all the time to make appointments. Just moved and have a location a couple blocks from our home so I reinstalled it. BIG BUGGY MISTAKE. Fist of all, it kept generating cryptic errors when I tried to create my account (it didn't remember that I already had an account), and when I tried to create an account from scratch after getting the error, I got an error saying that email is already in use. So.....I try to log in, and the app gives me its version of the spinning beach ball but never launches. I tried deleting it and reinstalling and the same thing happens....tried restarting my phone; same thing. Bottom line is, don't waste your time with this pathetic attempt at an app. It's truly awful.

The old app worked just fine, but then someone had to "improve" it. Constantly refuses to open or crashes when it does open. Wait times are wildly inaccurate. When a convenient app becomes inconvenient it is time to move on.

This use to be a good app. It will no longer load up. I've deleted and reinstalled and it still doesn't work.

This is a good, not great, app. It's been consistent for me each time I've used it. I have been able to check in and save myself a few minutes during my visits. Like others have shared, it would be great to have a history of my check-ins and visits. I always get that question from the stylists and I'm never quite sure how long it has been since my last cut. Today was the first time I had a cut from a stylist I would like to request exclusively. It would be nice if there was at least a notes area for each location where I could enter the name(s) of my favorite stylist(s). I was given a card with her handwritten name. But, I don't keep paper cards so I simply added a new contact on my phone. It would be much more efficient to have the information stored in the app. Even better would be to be able to request a specific stylist. All in all, the app has done what it indicates in the description. No more. No less. A solid 3 stars.

In the past this app has worked great, but had the ridiculous experience of having the app quote me a 40 minute wait but be told by the staff once i got there that the app only holds your spot for 30 minutes, even if the wait time is longer than 30 minutes. Who's the genius coming up with these business practices?

The app works fine for the most part, sometimes the est. wait time is off but otherwise it's fine. The reason for the low stars is because it should allow you to add family members. I should be able to check my kids in with me from the app. Seems like an easy fix

This used to work well. Now it's completely nonfunctional. My opinion of the entire chain has decreased markedly as a result of this app.
