My wireless is already setup and I wanted to use this app but it insists on setting up a NEW network. It says “Searching for device” but never finds anything even though I’m connected to the google wireless. It failed to live up to its description in the App Store.

Only change I’d like to see is “share password” in iPhone app icon shortcuts (pressing on icon).

Everybody complaining just doesn’t know what they’re doing most likely

It was easy to set up and greatly increased the quality of the internet access for all the devices in my home. I also like the tools in the app that let you control and check on the status of the APs.

Es una pena que solo esté disponible en el App Store de USA. Tuve que bajarlo con mi id de Estados Unidos para poder usarlo en casa.

I choose Google WiFi expecting security and a great product. But considering how much it costs I was expecting more. Not sure why I need an app to configure it. Most of the routers use a web interface. Internet down = Wifi down. Why?! I cannot split 2.4GHz and 5GHz in 2 networks... I understand wanting to make things simple except that it is impossible doing what a $40 router let you do easily. I also think the app itself it is not very intuitive. Not clear how to update the firmware. Not clear how to find the setting for the light. Not possible to turn on SafeSearch by default on the whole network.

This app needs work. I recently had an internet outage with my modem and the app said it it lost the connection when I was away from home, which is what it’s supposed to do. When I came home however my phone connected to the Google Wi Fi right away but the app stopped working and the checking status just kept spinning. I could not check the router status or reboot it from this app. I had to do a hard reset of both my modem and the Google WiFi for it to work again.
