Software Download Freezes

Install of the routers went smooth, but then it asks and suggests you do a 6 minute 30 second download of software updates. It never finishes and freezes at the end. Ridiculous.

Won’t identify existing network

This will not identify my existing hubs. I guess you need to reset the hub to factory to get it to connect.

Needs a setting to default to 5ghz band

i understand mesh wifi networks can’t have two ssids, but there should still be a way to disable the 2.4ghz band if you so choose

There are a few reviews on here expecting enterprise level features at consumer prices. The app works great, but unfortunately Google is moving the setup/control into the Home app which is extremely unfortunate. The Google WiFi app is simple and easy for less technical people to use. The Google Home app is unfortunately not very intuitive and has WAY too much information in it. They really need to keep everything in this app instead.

Useless app unless you share data

This app is completely useless unless you share your data with google. You need to turn on the privacy setting and accept share data with google to use any features of this app.
