Wide choices of News

What i have liked about Google news for many years is the large variety of newspapers they offer. You can read from New York to San Fransico and all in between!
Annoying pop up ads

Years ago Google band pop up ads. Now they are allowing them again probably to get people to pay for a news subscription. Very annoying every other news story I read has a pop up ad come up with a video ad or other type of ad. So much for google having your back!
Constant irrelevance

No matter how many times I choose to see fewer stories about tennis all I see stories about tennis everything that i choose to see less of I see more of.This Google app is a complete failure.
Unusable

I don't know if it's crappy coding on Alphabet's part or Apple causing problems to influence people to use a different product, but this app, on the iPad anyway, is completely useless. I can't read a single complete article without the page crashing. I would rate it 0 stars if I could, it's that aggravating.
Getting worse

About 50% of the content won’t load or has layout problems. Constant loading spinners with errors. The app seems to be deteriorating quite a bit over the past year.
One issue

I love this app! It’s very convenient and easy to use. My only issue is when I read an article and go back to the feed page the app will push my to the very top of the newsfeed and I’ll have to scroll back down and find my place again. Still 5 stars because I love it, I just thought I’d bring this bug up in case you weren’t aware.
