Algorithms are Terrible

Just because I clicked on 1 Covid article or 1 article about supernovas, that doesn’t mean the only news I want is about Covid and space. Most of the “news” I get is just fear porn and sensationalism. Was hoping for a good mix of stories to actually be informed, not manipulated.

The wide variety of news is great, but the app crashes constantly.

Google news has way too much advertising and news feeds with a very limited number of access before they require a subscription…. I mostly use a different news feed

If I could change one thing, I’d like the ability to not see certain news outlets such as fox, but other than that, Google News rocks!

I love how this app aggregates the news from different sources. You get a lot of content without spending all the time. You also can get different perspectives on the same story.

I appreciate the personalized view of news, but would love a feature that allows me to get an unpersonalized experience as well. I also would like the option to select the opposite of what I’m getting. So if my news is leaning in one direction, what’s the counter point to my interests? I also would really appreciate it if you would fix the bug that scrolls me back to the top of my dam news feed after I have been browsing for a few minutes. This causes me to bounce out of the app immediately.

I couldn't care less about sports. Wish there was a way to disable that section from appearing
