Incorrect location

Google maps kept telling me I was several blocks away from where I truly was at and when I tried to get to a specific place the starting point was incorrect. Luckily I was able to find out where I truly was and used the map to get there.
Can't mute voice directions

This change is hilariously frustrating. The options let me adjust the volume to be softer but not off. What!?!
Hideous UI

Very non-intuitive and difficult to use. Material design on iOS is incredibly inappropriate.

Walking directions default to give an overview vs actual directions. Defaults to a panned view even when a top down was being used before directions were requested.

Interface takes a bit of getting used to, but this is a really well- done app that is a must for iPhone owners.

Google please bring back MUTE feature. On your description you say it's possible. But it's not! And I'm not alone. See other users as well. It's annoying!! I can't turn of the voice!
