It's just like using Google maps on the computer except you have it on the go. I use to explore and find new places to eat, shop, and relax! Would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't heard of it or used it this day in age.

I used to use google maps all the time, since it used to be great, but it's been nothing but frustrating lately. Today, for example, I put together an itinerary for a trip from Huntsville, AL, to Savannah, GA, WITHOUT going through Atlanta. I went through painstaking detail to ensure I would go down through Newnan and miss Atlanta all together. Sent it to my phone using googles nifty little feature and hit "go" on my phone. The SECOND I left the parking garage, it rerouted me through Atlanta, so I pulled over and tried getting my old route back but since I wasn't in the garage I could only "look" at it, couldn't use it for GPS. Okay... I try my best to get it to do my route but to no avail. All daylong I fought with it to take me on the route I selected but it absolutely INSISTED on taking me to Atlanta. I gave up once I hit the GA border on US 20 and switched to apple maps, it offered a non Atlanta route (which google STILL WASN'T DOING) and never once tried to reroute me, even when I stopped multiple times. If I ****ing sent a route to my phone, Google, don't you think I want to use that route even if it's 20 minutes longer? (Oh the horror, 7:10 instead of 6:50) This isn't waze you shouldn't be rerouting me every seven seconds to the "fastest" route when I deliberately picked a specific route. I'm uninstalling Google maps, I'm tired of feeling abandoned by my GPS. I'd just buy a freaking paper map if they still made good ones.
I have to use voice over now?

Was there a lawsuit or something that now forces us to use the voice over for the app? I usually mute mine but after the most recent update the voice over is active and I can't find how to mute it.

Great work on everything ! Especially the routing , but I think you should have faster rout options ! For faster traffic and less time on the road . Sincerely , Jose M. Perz

Invoking street view always crashes this app. Please fix this ASAP. Oh who am I kidding? Google never fixes anything you'd ask them to fix because they are too big to care.
Issue with the GPS on GoogleMaps

They need to fix the GPS . It give you a wrong way to go any place because the GPS tell you make a right and on the screen tell you make a left . Which way I have to take . It doesn't tell you only one correct way to go your place . I'm really mad with this app and I think the last update was terrible . They need to fix that!

I've always loved this app over any other map. I can't believe they switched the voice navigation though. it took me 4 days to figure out where it was and it's just a pain in the butt. if that changes, it'd be the great app it used to be ?
