Solid golf app

I really like the app I have used it for over 10 years now. I do wish it had a proprietary device that you could put on your club and automatically registered your shot distances. Manually tracking your shot is not enjoyable.
Stopped working

I’ve used this app for a number of years an all has been fine. Yes, occasionally the yardage is off, but not a big deal. Today however, it simply does not recognize where I’m standing. It gives the same yardage whether you’re at the Teebox or 20 yards from the green. Maybe the app needs to be updated due to operating system changes. I tried reinstalling, and I tried rebooting the iPhone. Nothing to solve the problem.

GPS in Siri do not link. When you asked Siri what the distances, she’s either a whole head or stuck on one hole. I reset the phone I reset the app and nothing changes.Besides that I think this is a highly functional app and has a lot of great features.

It’s easy to see why Golfshot is one of the top, if not the top, golf apps. The iPhone app is excellent. However the Apple Watch app is buggy and crashes on occasion when I’m trying to enter my score and stats of a hole, hence the 3 stars instead of 5. It has always been this way for me ever since the Watch app first came out. Update: still having issues with watch app. Sometimes when I try to enter a score/stat, the screen autoflips back to main hole screen, often forcing me to enter the hole score and stats all over again. Taking away a star and now using the 18Birdies app as their watch app is perfectly stable.

I’m giving this app five stars because it’s a great golf app and a great developer. UPDATE the app improved when I restarted the phone and now it’s working great again! Updates yardage in more or less real time.

The addition of the Bose crap completely disabled the app. I am done. Going back to laser range finder. Too bad they messed with a good thing and made it UNUSABLE.
Inaccurate on Apple Watch 5

Just got a new Apple Watch and was hoping to be able to use it instead of my Garmin watch, but the distances were just too far off. I set it up to use the watch GPS feature, not my phone’s GPS, so that wasn’t the problem. Also, on some holes the distance kept fluctuating, and neither of the two distances it was switching between were what my Garmin said. I hope it improves, because as is it is not usable for me.
Misleading!! You have to buy the app AND pay monthly for iwatch to work

Golfshot Plus no longer updating Distances

I’ve been using Golfshot plus for two plus years and been happy with the product until the last 2 weeks. I use the app with my Apple Watch and use my watch for scoring. I’m not sure if the new Apple and phone operating systems are to blame, but the app is no longer updating distances while on the course. I’ve contacted support three times to no avail and waiting for updated response, but the app is currently unusable.
