Apple Watch not working now

Update 11/20/21 Support refuses to address my issue. And now can’t email support through the app as apparently they’ve blocked me. Horrendous support and I can no longer recommend this app. Avoid at all costs. There are better products out there who value their customers. Update 11/16/21 Been in contact with support. Watch app still not working. Tired of Golfshot telling me to just uninstall apps, restart and reinstall. That doesn’t work. Tried Hole19, which works perfectly and works with my Apple Watch 3. Long time Golfshot user who’s ready to jump ship permanently. The watch app with WatchOS 8 is unusable. IOS 15.0.2, Watch OS 8.1. Golfshot Plus doesn’t stay connected to Apple Watch 3 with iPhone 12. Worked perfectly previously. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Restarted devices. Re-paired Watch. Nothing has helped. Watch app quits when I enter my score and go to the next hole. IPhone app works fine. Frustrated. Updated 10/29/2021. Support finally contacted me. There is an issue with Watch OS 8 and Golfshot. They are able to duplicate the problem and the support team is working on a fix. No ETA.

I’ve been using this app for ten years this month. From the features to the support I could not be happier. The support staff has always been very helpful with any issues I’ve had. I even use an older iPad and when they changed their system I couldn’t use my iPad with the app. I contacted the support staff and explained my situation and they went back and corrected it instead of recommending I just purchase a new device. Talk about service. All I can say is these folks are the poster people for what real service and support should be.

When I first got Golfshot plus, it had problems but to a limited extent it was still usable. Going to pro has been a nightmare. The app has so many problems, it would take a book trying to explain all the problems with this app. I hope you will resolve all the issues or problems because it has the potential of being a go to app for anyone who enjoys golf. Waiting!!!!

Golf Shot only tell you to write to support, which l did but after more than a week l hear nothing from them.
Question on update to iOS 14 and Apple Watch

Prior to iOS 14, when I fired up GolfShot+ and opened the app on the watch, I would get a Golf workout showing up in my Activities. It provided, among other things, a nice easy way to know the duration of my round. In the Activity app on the iPhone, it shows the GolfShot icon, so I know GolfShot had successfully integrated itself with Activities. After I updated my iPhone to iOS 14, using GolfShot+ no longer registers a Golf workout in my activities. I’d like to have that show up again, but don’t know what controls that. Is that iOS or GolfShot? Can a developer chime in to provide some insight? BTW, I’ve been using GolfShot in one form or another for almost 10 years. I love it, have convinced others to use it and they love it too! Thanks!

Voice Siri not working

App is very disappointing so far as Siri consistently reads inaccurate distances by 200 yards or more. Will look to cancel if there is no fix or improvement. Any suggestions??

This app is amazing. Helps you on a course you play every week, and really helps on a course you’re playing for the first time. Tracks my handicap for me, and shows stats on how I’m doing in various categories. Get the GPS... even though it’s relatively expensive (please don’t increase the price). Has a few types of games you can play (skins, Nassau). Would be great if they could add more games... (banker or round robin). Also, this app allows you to track your shot distances (if you pay for the GPS). Which is great at helping you understand the ranges for how far each club will hit the ball. A potential feature that would make this app unbeatable would be if the developers could also factor in altitude of each course into how far your ball travels. Again... great app!! Much better than 18 birdies!
