I can’t add replacement phones- when I scan the QR code, the app shuts down. Needs fixing

I can’t use the app because it tells me I need to update the app, but the app is up to date. No way for me to get past this issue because there is nothing to update and that notification won’t go away. I have literally been stuck in this loop and tried to press the update button 5 times, the app is the issue, not the App Store. When I have been able to use the app, it has been very poor aside from this. I would not recommend buying a Gizmo because the app makes it unusable. Apparently the developer thinks it’s okay that I have to delete and reinstall the app to fix this issue. I shouldn’t have to delete and reinstall and re-enter all my information to check the message from my child! I have never had to do this with any other app. Really embarrassing glitch.

My 8 year old takes the bus home and I wanted something that would help me keep track of where he was. The app itself is easy to navigate. I have been overall satisfied, however recently, there have been a few things that I have not been happy about. First, I like that there are limited contacts otherwise my son would want call every single person. I bought it specifically for tracking, which it has. My son seems happy with it. Unfortunately, I am not receiving any notifications when my son enters or leaves locations in the “Location Alert” section. I have to manually go in and check the notifications if he has left or entered that area. It does not send it straight to my phone like receiving a text message or email notification. I have called Verizon, deleted/downloaded the app but is still not sending me any alerts. I like to check on him so I use the live tracking during a certain time. It can take anywhere from 2-5 minutes just to see where he is. It doesn’t show exact movements of where he is and instead skips to different locations. One time, I tried locating him for almost 40 minutes. It kept saying the war h was either off or bad service, but I was able to call and he answered. Inputting message replies for my son has erased a few times. I wanted to put the ones he uses the most on the top, but after I exited, it would go back to default. I wish my son was able to receive and send texts to others and not just with guardians. This watch has virtually everything I wanted except for a few things which isn’t a make or break for me. However, the things I wanted and why I got the watch, does not work. Real bummer.

Got the watch for my 7year old daughter for Christmas. We absolutely love it! It does take a minute to locate watch from the app but serves its purpose well! I can have peace of mind when I’m not there that she’s ok! I wish she could type her own text messages tho instead of the pre-made text options it had but other than those two things I’m very impressed and definitely recommend checking it out!!

I absolutely love this app, and the watch. My son now has it to use when he’s at school, and on the weekends with his dad. It’s nice to keep track of where he is and being able to check in on those weekends. Nothing but positive things to say

Absolutely love the watch and app. Gives us such a piece of mind seeing where our children are and being able to get in contact with them. Love the feature of auto answer too. It’s a great device for in between time, meaning my kiddos are too young for a cell phone at school (3rd and 2nd grade) if they go to a sleep over they can call us or send us little messages too. They also like competing against each other with the movement exercises as well.

Every time I open the app when my son gets out of school it tells me I need to update the app. It tells me there is no update also doesn’t show one.
Like it a lot. Perfect for my 8 year old girl.

⬆️DITTO⬆️ I’m sorry, folks but an 8 year old is not ready for a full cell phone. This here Gizmo is the in-between. She loves it and I can track her using the very accurate and up to date GPS. Only improvement would be better aesthetics in terms of the background choices... wallpapers.

This app does not track accurately.. makes for a very worried parent. My son rides his bike to school And I use this to ensure he makes it.. I had to call the school to find out if he actually made it bc his watch was showing he was at least a mike away from the school! Please get this fixed!!!
