Here’s my example of a Gigwalk gig. Go to the department store or fast food restaurant and take photos of all 6 donut displays. You must take 6 photos of every display and it must be the donut display in one wide shot. WAIT WHAT? So then you’ll get to the store and there will be only one display, the clerk will have no idea what you’re talking about. You’ll take the photo and 25 other photos of random equally confusing things that are half correct, you’ll add comments to clarify what you are showing, and after a half hour of this submit your work. Then a few days later you’ll get a message from Gigwalk saying “we need all 6 donut displays in a single wide shot with clear photos of each display”. So they don’t read your comments at all and then also give you nonsense for instruction. You’ll explain that you completed the gig and expect payment and they simply won’t respond. As I said, it’s a mess.

I was reluctant to get this app when I first read about it. Now I'm getting paid and super impressed! Most of the gigs I can just go ahead and do while I'm already out. I've always wanted to be a secret shopper and I feel like I'm doing just that. For all of the bad reviews that I've read, the only instructions that I have for you is to follow ALL instructions! So far I've made $11.00 just by going to Wal Mart twice.

This is great if you're a college student in need of some extra cash. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because I feel like there should be an option to receive notifications of new jobs posted in our area. It would be great because right now, I'm constantly checking the app every 15 minutes in-search for new jobs in hopes that it isn't taken by someone else... Haha

Don't bother. There are may be 2 jobs even in the major metropolitans and they pay $4. In fact 90% of the jobs pay $4. These companies would have to pay more in China then they try to pay in the US.

There was only one job in my area since I got this app. I applied for the shop because I was doing another shop in the same area for another company. I was not selected for the shop. I will be deleting this app. The jobs are cheap jobs anyway. There are better companies out there that pay way better.

I read the reviews and took a chance thinking that there might be more jobs near me (Southwest Missouri). Boy, was I wrong!! There were only 6 jobs available; and they were all 50+ miles away. PLUS, the highest paying gig was $10 and it was over 70+ miles away. THANK GOD I DIDN'T PAY ANYTHING FOR THIS WORTHLESS APP!! I know you might be like me and think "I'm sure there will be more jobs than that in my area" but trust me, you'll just be wasting your time and giving them your information for nothing!
