as a loyal Ghostery user for years, i personally believe this to be 1 of the best privacy/anti-tracker instruments out there. it help make allowing data u want thru the customizable plethora of anti-track filters as it is to block what u don’t. i firmly believe privacy is an innate right & that we should have control over what info we want to share w/ the world & ppl around us. not that the vast majority of ppl need to be totally anonymous while webbing for work or play, just that our personal & private lives on the web shouldn’t be bought & sold as a commodity either! this app helps stop the all the unnecessary data miners & corporate trackers that buy & sell ur info. w/o u even knowing, work that much harder to get it. paired w/ DuckDuckGo search engine (a selectable option in settings) it can help keep ur info online more secure & private.

After updating to iOS 13.2, I can no longer press and hold to get menu to copy links or save imagines or anything. Also, why doesn’t the “Open in new tab” option show every time on that menu? It is very intermittent. Please fix this!!

Ghostery was purchased by Cliqz and now the two are indistinguishable. Cliqz is pretty good, but is really weak in the area of bookmarks.

Grabbed this and quickly deleted it without even going online when I discovered that it’s just another browser, and rather ugly and stripped down, bare bones simplistic. No.

Since Google & Facebook are monetizing privacy, I have looked for ways to phase them down & ultimately out. Ghostery thought I’d try because often I’m doing 5 things at once so was looking for new search engine. At App Store Ghostery came up third. So I tried it. 1) It’s fastest search engine ever used. 2) Excellent search results without the Google interference. 3) Emphasis on privacy.. 4) I’m sold, so long Google except for searches on my favorite flower.e.g.

So let me see if I have this right. You’re whole deal is blocking tracking, but your ‘Privacy Browser’ automatically accepts cookies and doesn’t allow the hapless user to change any cookie settings whatsoever? Neat.

I really liked this browser, but since iOS 13 there are some things (like saving an image) that I can’t do. I hope there is an update soon.

This app tracks my location and shows local results only. Even finds my country at search.
