WHAT ARE TRACKERS?
We live in a connected world. When you browse the web, your data leaves a digital footprint that is connected by tracking technologies that help companies build a profile about you. This profile details how you interact with their sites and those of their competitors, allowing them to optimize communications and site experience to reach you -- and others like you -- at the right place, at the right time.
Ghostery helps you clean up, speed up, and lock down your browsing experience.
I wanted to thank the developers at Ghostery! You are trying to solve our lack of privacy problem. You should have a higher rating then 4.0. People that are posting rating, please give the developers time. I am really happy with the browser!
Ghostery is now automatically switching to private mode when it encounters what it believes is an adult web site. Following their logic, anything not far left leaning appears to be an adult web site. Granted, the snowflakes on the left might not be able to read scientific papers or web sites that discuss logic, but I can't imagine how they are considered adult web sites. Just another sign the dolts are gaining more control in the interweb?
I use it on total block but when I go to check to see if any website data has been stored, yup sure is, some have been saved. So I have to manually clear them. Duh
Be prayed to jump through hoops to remove everything that remains once you’ve left a sight.
Ever since iOS 15 the browser keeps crashing when I try switching tabs or when I try to close out other tabs.
Do not “upgrade” to this downgrade until stability issues are fixed.
