Absolutely worth paying for.

This app is fantastic. Great audio recordings (even as a lady I love the Aussie female), intuitive and beautiful run UI, allows you to skip through events in a run if for some reason you need to. Dims music during speech when I use Nike+ Running to track my run. Overall very happy with this. Now if they make a 10k version, or a marathon one, I'll pounce on it immediately.

Best $2.99 spent in my life.

This app really got me off the couch. I'm running for the first time in my life and love it. Highly recommended!

I'm now a 5k runner

Love this app! I went from non runner to 5k runner. Wish there was a app to bridge to a 10k!

Worth it!!

Please make a 10K version of this app. It is a wonderful motivator!! Been using for 2 weeks and will be running my first 5K in 3 weeks. I haven't been following the 'breaks' you're suggested to but I have found the app incredibly motivating and fun!! Worth the money!

Very effective

Love this app, it makes going from not running to running 5K very doable. I needed someone to tell me when to walk and when to run. I didn't give it 5 stars only because I wish it had the option of a longer warmup and cool down on the days when I have time.

Awesome!!

I just finished this app and if you want to learn to run this is the app to get. I couldn't run 30 seconds when I started and I just signed up for my first 5k. I hope it only grows from here.

Just what I needed

This app really helped me go from can't run around the block to running 3 miles. Program is nice and gradual and it's great to have a trainer telling you what to do! Now that I am a runner I need more but it was exactly what I needed to get going. Well done!

Could be better

First off let me say I do love this app. But it needs a couple of upgrades and glitches fixed before it is a great app. One. Even tho the app says it will pause your music when the coach talks, it just doesn't. No matter how you set it up the app simply will not pause your iTunes. But my second issue is the deal breaker for me. There is no distance function, so you have no way to record your runs and distance. For a "couch to 5K" app there's no way to know how far you're running or how close you are to your goal. That means you have to have a second running app running at the same time if you want that information. And what's the point of that?

Awesome

I had to do week 1 twice, but I did it. Update: Today I finished my first run of week 2. This is so great… !!! Update: I just finished my first run of week 4. As with the first run of each of the previous three weeks, I thought sure I would die. But I didn't. I'm alive and feeling great. Update: Today I finished the last run of week 5: my first 20 minute jog... with no walking. This time, I did not feel like I was about to die. Aside: while I had to repeat week 1, I haven't had to repeat any weeks since. This is so cool! P.S. I'm a 76 (not 72) year old codger.

This is the best app I've used

I have tried several couch to 5K apps and this one is the best by far. I actually ran 2 miles today which seemed impossible a few weeks ago...
