I bought the $10 premium app last year, but now they've taken those premium features away and want me to pay again, $30 every year just to get back the features I already paid for. So lame.

- Dislike "clustering". Too difficult to view map. - Dislike the "you're xx feet away" screen blocking notification. - Dislike the blue color for puzzle caches. Too difficult to tell the difference between the green ones. - Dislike not being able to give favorite points. Fix these things and it'll be a worth wild app. Still a little cumbersome. - Like the GPS mapping capability. - Easier to manage trackables on the go. - Like messaging capabilities. - Downloading lists to off line use is easier.

Rated this "new" app after initial release. Then it wasn't worth a star compared to what we lost on the old app. Now after several updates this app can actually find caches, doesn't crash anymore (that I've noticed) and has a couple cool new features. Still missing some key offline, and notation features frequently used on the old app. Really only worth downloading if you become a premium member, other most of the caches & several features aren't available to you. Better but definitely not 5* worthy yet.
App is a mess
Groundspeak took a decent pay-for app and made it worse. You get what you pay for.

We liked the old app better. The new one has things we like but needs to be more user friendly. Often we have to go to the website to do things that should be on the app. Especially with travel bugs. I have geocaches boxes now showing travel bugs in them because people do not know how to log the. It should be easy to do on the app.

This new version of the Geocaching.com app is an interesting update. I was pretty happy with it, even though some functions were obviously missing. Most importantly for me is that the new version supports navigation on IOS. That was always the missing link on the iPhone or iPad. However, with the IOS 10 update navigation no longer works. I am assuming the developers know this and are working to fix it.

This is so much fun. I love doing this with my kids. We get to visit places we would never have known about. It gives us fun family entertainment. The app works wonderfully for me. I currently have 399 caches. I love having the convenience of having the app on my phone.
