If you like waiting 10+ minutes just to see the lyrics to a song you were listening to 10 minutes ago this is the app for you! Also, if you love apps that crash constantly this is the perfect fit! As the genius app evolves it is progressively getting worse, stick to what you know best, song lyrics, enough with the videos, save it for YouTube. How about an update that fixes the app so people can see the lyrics to the song their listening to at the moment rather than looking at a blank template waiting for it to load. Needs an update and it needs it now.

i’ve used this app for a good 1 year now and it’s worked fine but all of a sudden it’s crashing and lagging and freezing. this has never happened before so ima little concerned and disappointed. i love this app but if it’s gonna do this i won’t need it or recommend it! so cmon genius do something here

I’m not sure if anyone else has experienced the extremely slow lag whenever you open the app while listening to a song? It’s almost as if it doesn’t register tapping within the app, either it takes a couple minutes to register or crashes, and I’ve been waiting for an update to fix this for over a month. Other than this functionality issues, the app should really have lyric editing and metadata editing features that are included on the website. These key components would help add convenience to contributors on the go without needing access to a compute, which quite frankly should’ve been added quite a while ago. Other than the basic speed issue and the added features, still a great app with loads of excellent aspects that just need some rework :^)

Please fix this.

I can't use the app at all. I have to go to the internet and find another website with lyrics. Every time I open the app it freezes up and crashes. Every. Single. Time.

This app is basically non-functional. Any time a new page loads, whether it be the home page, the search page, a lyric page, whatever, it’ll freeze for minutes before either unfreezing or crashing. Load another page from there and the same occurs. It’s a shame, Genius is the best lyric website, but the app is terrible.

I had this app for about 8 years and I remember the days when you guy broke down almost all the lyrics to every song on here. I know its a lot of song that come out and you’re making it open to the people to break down the lyrics but can you guy go back to doing it please ??

I’ve had this app for years and it is still constantly crashing on my iPhone 7 just like it did on my 5 and 6. When first opening the app it runs smooth enough looking up a song MAYBE two. After that I’m having to close the app out because it freezes in between switching pages or becomes unresponsive. After three years of dealing with this I have had enough. These problems were even present before they took the ‘Rap’ out and became genius. I think the fact that you put under the update details that many bugs have been fixed and improvements were made when we all know that was a lie. I’m going back to my safari app and using azlyrics at least I know i can count on them

i love this app so much but for the last week or so i cant even open the app without it freezing and eventually crashing or if it doesn’t crash it takes 7 years for a page to load update: i can’t even open it now lol ANOTHER EDIT: it is November 23rd and i cannot use the app and i am sad
