Genius can know what song you are listening to and give info about the origins of a song who wrote it sometimes exactly where and the meaning of the lyrics animations on the app (normal use) is very smooth and well done only problem is it’s done by the public and not all song have stuff written but usually not a problem

Use this app almost everyday love to view song credits, and the app recognizes the song you are currently listening to. That’s Dope!

The app always glitches and goes to ads and the App Store repeatedly over and over again. It crashes half the time and won’t let me look at the song descriptions. Wouldn’t recommend

It used to work so well, but now... • the app itself is laggy as hell and glitches. Sometimes the lyrics to a song doesn’t even show up. It just shows a blank page with the Genius logo • I don’t mind ads, obviously the developers need to make their money, but I could be viewing lyrics or searching for a song and I get redirected to the App Store or a web page. • It can randomly reset randomly and take me back to the homepage when I’m viewing a lyric page. • the app loves to crash too. Like, it kicks me out of the app for no real reason.

Genius idea. Poor execution.

The idea behind the Genius app is an incredible one. The pure amount of knowledge this app can access is unfathomable. However, it’s a shame that the app runs as poorly as it does. The app constantly freezes and crashes! I have had this app on my phone for years! While I have watched the interface progressively grow, the app still functions like garbage! It shouldn’t take anyone this long to fix bugs as serious as these!

This app lags and freezes every other time I try to use it making it unusable. Faster to just use Google instead.

I really love Genius because it’s a complete database and easy to use and free but it’s too laggy and working slowly on my iPhone 5s! pls do something for these lags.. thanks

Just horrible after this last update, extremely laggy when it does work. It just stays frozen as soon as I open the app and I am running the latest iOS on my iPhone 7. Please update this app soon, I am going to be forced to delete it and use the browser website seeing as it’s unusable... Would give it 0 stars if I could.

I never rate but this is an exception- I love how you could save lyrics, but it is so slow it take me 40 seconds to ‘save’lyrics... can you add where you could select a bunch of an artists songs to save all at once? So much easier. It’s hard for me to even save A SINGLE SONG, it keeps crashing
