Unable to connect to Ryobi WiFi

Tried many times, got a new router, and still unable to connect to Ryobi networks.

I have had almost every garage door opener manufactured to date. I recently had a martin garage door go out on my three bay garage. I decided to try the this Ryobi because extras that can be added along with a easy battery backup. It installed in less than two hours with the addition of a extension for my 10’ door. I have a iPhone 8 and the app has worked great. I live in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and I have opened and closed the door from the backside of my property approximately 1 mile away. There is a delay though I have not had it delay more than 20 seconds. It is easy to know if the garage door is opened or closed because it states it on the home screen of he app. Great product and will be changing the other two out as required to the Ryobi

I really don’t talk bad about Products. But this is ridiculous. The garage door is very unreliable and app stopped working 3 weeks ago and still will not me add a opener to the app. Support pretty much told me this is a poor app ?
App no longer opens with Apple IOS 13

Even though the app was very limited, I could at least perform the basics such as opening and closing the garage door. However, now I can no longer use the app on any of my Apple IOS devices. The version history may be the answer to why the app performs so poorly. The history shows the last update was 1 year ago. It’s obvious an app will need updates to remain compatible with phone/tablet software updates.

GEO Fence doesn’t work

Has anyone gotten the geofence function to work? These garage door openers are fairly nice and quiet. They do work over the internet which is also cool. The drag is, the geofencing function does not work. My iPhone’s location services says it’s being ping’d by the app - but app is unable to open and close the door via the geofence function. Really wish they would get this functionality working.

I’m not sure why, but it constantly logs me out. Not a big deal most of the time, but lately it won’t even let me log back in. Even with the correct password! I literally had to uninstall the app, reinstall it and log back in. Same password! That’s just messed up and needs to be fixed!

I am constantly having to sign back in to the app. It completely negates the “convenience” of having an app to open and close your garage door if it takes longer to log in than it does to just walk to the garage door button (that takes 3-4 pushes for it to work too). Really wish I’d have bought the Genie GDO.
