Great app and product!

Teewood72

Garmin Vivo Active and Connect App are a great combo. I use it for step tracker, sleep tracker, download golf courses for accurate yardages, and link to iPhone for email, caller id, and reading text messages. Their are a lot of other functions that I do not use, but that's the beauty of this product. You can customize it to your needs.

Sleep fail

Skier7777

Overall, love this app. But the newest changes cause far more crashes and freezes than before. Also, the sleep tracking function has become useless. I used to be able to edit the data to better reflect actual sleep, but the editing process has become tedious, and then is overwritten by the algorithm anyway.

Alarm doesn’t work

EdsBrain

Would be nice if the only alarm I’ve ever set on this device could be changeable. Seems that I’m stuck with 630a forever. Even though I want to wake up at 515a. Please help. Your online support seems to not care about my little issue.

Problems with Bluetooth

Burgerking62

Hey garmin fix the Bluetooth problems so I can use my expensive forerunner 935 and I’ll give you 5 stars

Keeps improving

PineBreeze

Update 12-31-2017 I’m giving it four stars now. Garmin keeps improving this app and how it works with their devices. It’s a good sign when a company keeps improving a technology instead of neglecting it for their next idea designed to make them quick profits. Update 5-7-16 Constantly crashing when opening if device is connected to Bluetooth. The app is ok when it works, but crashes every time it's opened now. ------ The app is..."OK" but it often won't sync to the servers. Then my Garmin Fenix 3 becomes useless. The app features are pretty weak, but it's never crashed. Hope Garmin fixes their persistent server connection errors.

Garbage app. Also, Apple deleted my review.

A doctor has advised me to stop looking at the app. The so-called “stress” measurement — which cannot be disabled or removed from the calendar on the app — is dangerously unscientific and worse than meaningless. Providing wildly inaccurate and wildly inconsistent health “data” about stress is worse than providing none. For now, though, not taking doctor’s advice, because I like the step counter and a few other features on this mostly garbage-quality app. I’ll do my best to ignore, among other flaws, the always-wildly-offbase sleep data (which the app is supposed to let you fix manually but it doesn’t always do so) and the ridiculous “stress” detector (which said I was at the highest level of stress for 19 hours (!) yesterday with 0 - zero! - minutes of rest, even thought the app *also* says I slept 8 hours including 3.5 deep sleep... the app won’t let you remove this nonsense, and you can’t correct most of it (except occasionally the app will let me edit sleep time like it’s supposed to)... Earlier Update: Garmin's "intensity minutes" are meaningless because they are so inaccurate. The app could provide a way to correct them, but it doesn't. Saturday I had 0 intensity minutes despite going for several walks and staying on my feet most of the day, while yesterday I had 37 intensity minutes despite being mostly sedentary with no exercise and very little walking. This could be a Garmin watch flaw and not an app flaw, but the app should at least provide a way to edit the incorrect data. It doesn't. One of many many reasons this app is junk. Previous review: Update: The app wouldn’t sync today until I restarted my phone. Has happened before. Other Bluetooth-connected devices and Bluetooth-using apps were not having problems. Just Garmin. Also, please make it possible with the app to stop my Garmin fénix from trying to measure sleep. I want to keep my watch on at night but not have it try (and fail miserably every night) to accurately record my sleep. It has never even gotten a close approximation of my sleep. And it’s not just a problem with the watch. The app often fails to accept my manual changes to sleep time. Earlier review: The app is awful, at least for a major company that makes expensive devices. I explained my opinion in a detailed review that appears to have been deleted for no good reason. My review was harsh but contained nothing inaccurate and had no inappropriate language. My opinion was consistent with that of other users too. Many people give this app 1 star. It’s buggy and slow and sometimes inaccurate too. Please don’t delete this review, Apple.

Very frustrating

Bikeracefan

This seems to be one of the most frustrating apps - hoping that another few days trying to figure things out will help. Starting to think I wish I bought a different devise

Great tracking

The Garmin V is great. I strap it to my ankle and get a great reading of my activity.
