More convenient and SAFER than a traditional remote

I’ve used the same Garage Mate unit for several years and in several different garages. In that time, I’ve also used a variety of phones, running both Android and iOS software. I’ve had exactly ONE instance of questionable performance/reliability. I emailed the support address and heard back promptly from Lou. His response was helpful, and he helped me diagnose the culprit ... I checked the connection points and, sure enough, found a loose wire (ugh). So the unit and software are unswervingly reliable, and I caused my only problem with it. Separately, I’ve never been comfortable leaving a remote opener in my car and now I don’t have to worry about it, because my opener is safely tucked away behind the passcode and biometric locks on my phone (which is much more likely to be in my pocket than in my car). I love the Garage Mate and highly recommend it.

This is a great app, but would be even better if the Apple Watch supported it too. Hopefully this will become available in a future update.

Just works! Reciver is easy to set up Pairing was painless. I wish this app had "3d touch" option to activate reciver and/or widget option Just a thought.

I needed two remotes. This was so much less expensive than buying remotes. It works great and is super easy to install and setup. Climbing the ladder to install is the hardest part. It offers some neat features. I would love to see it work on the Apple Watch though. Any chance of that coming soon?

Great app but the big problem is there is no Apple Watch connection for that reason three not five stars

This is a neat system & device. I do like its functionality, although the app could be drastically improved if either HomeKit compatibility or IFTTT compatibility were added. I do realize that there is an option in the app to “open on app launch” using Siri, but there are two problems with this: 1) The phone needs to be unlocked before the app can be opened, so it’s not hands free. 2) this means that the app opens in the background when you unlock your phone. I’m pretty sure that IFTTT would be easier for the developer to add to the system. This would require the app to allow a third party app to enter its settings and submit the signal to open/close the garage door.

Issue connecting

Hi!!!!!!!!!!! :)

So I have had this device and app for a long time and recently had to get a new phone. Now I can’t reconnect it because it wants me to put a password including letters in to pair the device to my phone. The problem there is the keyboard displayed only has numbers no letters and no toggle keyboard buttons so now I can’t use my Bluetooth garage door opener.

Everyone in our family has the app, and uses it, which is very convenient. Just wish it had CarPlay support, which would make it perfect.
