This is one of the best companies out there! They sent the product like almost over night and the instructions were perfect! The app works flawless! If your garage door opener does not have Bluetooth this is the best company and app to get! I wish they would add support for Apple touchID so if you add a password it would use touchID for verification. That's is all I want added. The app and company are the best! Tripjammer

Easy to install, works every time

When we replaced our old garage door opener with a new Genie Intellicode system, my family could never keep every remote, keypad, and Homelink in-car opener working consistently. It was driving us nuts! After looking at wi-fi systems, I decided not to be an "early adopter" of the new wifi-based "wireless home" garage door openers. I suspect every one will be just another headache, at best complicating the home network and at worst slowing the network speed. I think it's prudent to wait at least a couple of years and then re-assess the market. Plus, by then devices using Apple's own HomeKit should be widely available. So I decided to go with a Bluetooth receiver. I chose GarageMate because the website clearly provided all the information I needed in the FAQs, the company has been around awhile, and the receiver works with just about every system, including my annoying Genie. On top of it all, the GarageMate receiver is relatively inexpensive. As promised, the receiver was simple to install, and now the garage door opens and closes every time! I use Siri, my husband does not. Either way, the app works flawlessly. $50 well spent; all our problems solved. Btw, I emailed the developer today with a suggestion and heard back within hours. Add good customer support to your "pros" column if you're trying to decide which system to install.

The app and opener worked just fine until I upgraded my phone to iphone 6s plus. I wrote the company an email stating the problem and never got an answer. I will review this product again if I ever hear from them on how to fix it. Update: the company contacted us and resolved the issue. I am very satisfied with their service.

So far so good! Ordered it on Monday and it was delivered on Thursday. Super easy to install on the garage opener (we have an Overhead) and the apps work great. I have an iPhone 6s and my fiancé has a Samsung S5 and it works perfectly for both. So excited about this purchase!

After buying two failed garage door openers that were supposedly "compatible" with our garage door opener, I decided to try this little device. It was at my doorstep within 3 days and took me less that 10 minutes to open the packaging, pair the device to my IPhone 6 Plus, and wire it to my garage door opener. Tapped the button and voilà! Couldn't be happier with the simplicity, and function of this device. Thank you!
