Apple Watch

App works great! But can you please make it compatible with the Apple Watch. How cool would that be and convenient to control you GarageMate via Apple Watch. Thanks......

So far, so good

Hartofak

The device was easy to install and I love not having to carry a dedicated garage door opener. It's easy to use Siri to open the door. The only thing that would make it better is if I could open it with my Apple Watch so I don't have to dig my iphone out of my pockets while I'm driving up to the garage.

WONDERFUL Device!!!

Grandpa Gamer

I had another cheaper "device" that worked sometimes, until they did an update, then it was useless. Could never get it work again. This Garage Mate is AWESOME!!!!!

Just bought

Accesscode

So far it was very easy to install on my old craftsman garage door opener and works great! I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to leave a garage door opener in your car allowing thieves who break into it to have access to you garage or house!!

1 minute install

Blair witch project redux ?

If you have a button that makes it go up or down each time each time u push it and it has 2 wires coming out of yellow white or red white. , piggy back this on same screw and u are done One minute and it works from the street , at least 100 feet away, whereas normal remote was finicky and slow . I only installed it a few days ago love it. Others seem to say longevity is ok as well

Perfect fix for my el sucko garage door

curveto

1) Works exactly as described 2) Trivial to install (5 minutes plus a ladder and a screw driver) 3) Has connected flawlessly every time (max distance I've tried thus far has been a 100-120ft from the door when closed) ... my door is an insulated, aluminum affair and the aluminum doesn't cause the GMate any trouble Things I'd like to see in the product (none of which are "defects") if you're out there listening GarageMate OEM: 1) Change the word Exit to Done (exit means quit which makes no sense while done means finished/ok ... done is also the same terminology that every other iOS app on planet Earth uses for that context) 2) Change the door activate button to green as yellow had me thinking something was actually wrong (when nothing was) 3) Make it beep or something to signal a fault (I originally had the switch wires spanning two circuits on my door and it (obviously) didn't work (once I moved the wires to a single, correct circuit all was good). Your hardware "should" be able to tell if the switch wires are always open (and tell the app something) 4) You obviously spent a really long time/effort on all of the "idiot proofing" messages and such. They are arguably "too much". Iterate on that effort to minimize the verbosity (while not loosing effectiveness). Example... an oven burner dial doesn't tell me everything about an oven. It's purpose is clear and concise and it simply won't let you do something stupid, err... unintended. 5) I don't get the whole "erase" process I encountered when I fired up the app for the very first time (there wasn't anything to erase) Great App and product! I will recommend to all of my friends. I had (technically have) an old, super sucky door (1990 era) with HORRIBLE radio range. Until I installed GMate I had to exit my car a PRESS the remote against the door to get it to signal the opener. GMate fixed that and also has the bonus of being on my phone (and NOT connected to the internet!)

Easy!

This app requires a small dongle, simple wiring and an outlet near your garage door opener. It was inexpensive, very easy to install and works like a charm! Completely satisfied. Works from quite a distance, too.

Great customer service. Great product

McLean1400

We had an issue with our hardware but customer service was fantastic. The issue is completely fixed and it works great

Does the trick

This app and the associated hardware does the trick for me. Was looking for a BlueTooth garage door opener so I wasn't reliant upon a WiFi network. The app paired with the receiver with no problems. Just wish there was an Apple Watch extension for this app.
