Love the App

Thyran 2

I really love the this app for my iPad I’ve had it for yrs now best app for recording music and loops it has so many different loops and real instruments it’s been working great until the latest update I just got it on Thursday, when I’m scrolling through all the loops and listening to them it freezes up don’t know why it just freezes so I have to close the app and come back to In to it, it’s frustrating when ur trying to make music and it freezes so please fix this issue thank you.

You have to fix this

Brendan kb

I love this app so much and it’s great for making remixes. There should be a feature where you can slow or speed up a file. And also, every time I open the app there’s literally just a grey screen and it won’t load up so please fix that. It gets really annoying.

Amazing tbh

regihubard08

This is an amazing app that can be used for every genre of music

Apple Changed It

joedavnport

For one reason or another iOS has succeeded in reducing the functionality of what was once a great application. One is discouraged to leave default settings. One is also misled to the authenticity of recordings, thanks to much unnecessary haste- in Apple products...

it’s ok

Idea that would help a lot (devs please read)

Brivn gvbriel

So I’ve been using garage band for about 4 years now and it’s become sophisticated enough to make studio quality sounds but I have one request and that is to somehow implement a way to compact or stretch audio files that have been imported or even recorded to slow down or speed up tempo of that file separately from the tempo of the song, even an option for raising or lowering pitch separately at the same time as making it faster or slower, just so I can perfectly match a sample and edit pitch without changing the tempo or so I don’t have to use third party apps and import two separate files one being faster or slower. It would help a lot and it would make sampling much more easier. Another idea I have is somehow give us the option to edit the FX because when I make music I want to be able to edit out my mistakes instead of re-recording over and over again. This would all help so much for amateur producers like myself and I hope you read and I hope you agree and I hope you make this already great app better. Edit: please allow the use of auto tune key tweaks to smooth out mistakes and to even create vox background vocals like the weeknd “I feel it coming” as an example Ps: your new update ruined my settings for my third party frequency tuner “f-16 filter” and now they’re not compatible as I have to tweak the tuner everytime I leave a project. It would be great if you could not interfere with stuff like that as I have used it across many projects and now I have to go back and find a substitute for all of those projects many I will not find out til later as they sound completely different.

Update

aDurp

I’ve been using GarageBand for a while now, but the new update has so many bugs. The redo button doesn’t even work, so when I accidentally merged 2 tracks together, I couldn’t redo it. I spent a long time making it and it just disappeared. Then when I disconnected my phone from Bluetooth, the app crashes and I loose all my progress again. So after this I started getting so mad and stressed that I redid it twice and they both disappeared.

Needs more variety in the drum and cymbal sounds

Drummerfanatic1

I am a drummer with Cerebral Palsy. I use GarageBand to program beats that I cannot play on a real kit (My lower extremities are affected) I’ve written a review on GarageBand before. It’s phenomenal. I wish that there were more diverse acoustic drums. The cymbal sounds are recycled mostly, apart from variation on the crashes between the rock kits and the others (some slight and some drastic). The acoustic drum sounds need expanding. The snares all sound the same; There is pitch variation but they are mostly dry with not a lot of ring. Add some drums with more sustain. The electronic sounds are off the charts incredible. Huge selection, great variation. Please expand this to the acoustic sounds if possible.

Useful

I often use this to make songs. It is missing a lot of keyboard, guitar, etc tools. But over all very nice app.
