It should have an offline mode

Lord Tritanium

While I liked the original game, the update is fine. But there should really be an offline mode. I know that the idea is that ads make the game free, but not everybody has internet.

10th anniversary

So the way you celebrate 10th anniversary is by removing all the great functions and ruin the game. SMH

Almost 10 Years of IAPs

Joshua D.

Happy 10-year Anniversary, Halfbrick! Fruit Ninja is the game that "started it all" as you said. That's true. But, you're the developer that purposefully ended everything that was once pure, good, wholesome and fun in this game. And you devolved this title into nothing more than the same scummy, freemium garbage that litters the iOS App Store today. Congrats on that depressing achievement! You used to be able to buy this game for one fair price when it first released, I know, I was there, and I gladly paid a one-time fair price for Fruit Ninja when it first came out. And, at that time, it contained no disgusting and manipulative in-app purchases, advertisements or any other crooked freemium stuff. Now, though, this game has just been ruined by the developer. Now, it's an absolute pale shadow of its former self. It's an affront to quality gaming everywhere. This isn't a celebration of an anniversary it's an unbelievable letdown from everything great that this game used to be. I have to say, 10-years is absolutely nothing good to celebrate for, Fruit Ninja, Halfbrick. Not when you've turned your once genre-defining game into a micro-transaction nightmare. You're just like every other unethical freemium developer on the App Store now and, again, that's nothing at all to celebrate in my opinion. Original Review: This latest iteration of Fruit Ninja is a complete shadow of its former self in my opinion. It's one that is totally corrupted by micro-transactions by all accounts. When I first bought Fruit Ninja on my Android devices and then now Apple devices, forever ago, the game was brilliant in my opinion. But, over the years this once great title has just gotten worse and worse with the inclusion of myriad in-app purchases, advertisements and ultimately - developer greed. I think it would be so cool if, Halfbrick, offered a classic version of Fruit Ninja as a one time purchase, with no vile advertisements for other Halfbrick games or otherwise and absolutely no in-app purchases. Sadly, because of the aforementioned greed I just really don't see that lovely idea ever happening. You'd think that after all the money this developer has made from Fruit Ninja and its other titles, that they would be cool enough to offer a classic version of this game. Like I said, though, I don't ever see that happening with Halfbrick truly being lost to greed. That fact is very unfortunate in my opinion because this used to be one of the best video games available on mobile devices and elsewhere I always thought. Heck, I even bought a copy of Fruit Ninja for my Xbox 360 back in the day to play it using Kinect. And let me tell you, that was an awesome way to play this game, using your arms like swords to slash fruit and rack up crazy combos. I found as well that it was a really good physical workout. So, I have no aversion to spending my hard earned money on quality video games offered by ethical and moral developers/studios. But Fruit Ninja and Halfbrick are so far removed from being ethical and moral now. That, honestly, I refuse to spend even the lint in my pocket on the corrupted trash this once great title has truly become.

I’ve been playing fruit ninja for years and too many changes and now I feel like the game lags like if I slice a 3 combo is takes a couple seconds to register and now the blades don’t have an special use

I used to play this in my cousin's iPod. Its the same, I just loved the graphics now ? Is there a chance where I can play it offline? Coz not all the time I am connected to a network.

Empty game

Dandurple

10 year anniversary and still lacking content. It’s pay to customize and also uses another in game currency that is literally useless. The gameplay itself is fun however.

Nostalgic masterpiece

hoioismell

I never leave reviews for games, but this is an exception. This game brings me back to the older, more simple time in life. Admittedly, the main reason for enjoyment of this game is nostalgia, but it’s still great! This is also the game that got me into physics gaming. You should definitely download this!
