This app is so, so, so bad. Crashes all the time, typing a message makes phone work slowly and displays black screen, not sending notifications at all, not loading data… Awful app, freelancer is great community and website but application by itself is frustrating.

Every. Single. Bid. Has. Been. A scammer. When I say every single one I mean every single one. One of them made me “take a translation test” and when I “passed” he asked me to join his company’s Facebook page and sent me to a legit looking link when I clicked it immediately sent me to kne of those YOUR IPHONE IS INFECTED deals. Another made Me take a test and once i passed sent me a link to his company’s jobs which all required that you pay a fee before you start the work so that they have compensation in case you don’t finish the job. I played it off as though I was still interested up until the guy asked for my payment information at which point I replied that how stupid can someone be to actually think that that would work? Because here’s a way to make sure the person finishes the job, you pay them when it’s done. Period. It’s been done that way donde the beginning of time, that’s the way it’s been done since before humans had to ability to record history. So the fact that this app has no way of fishing these scammers off of their app and make it not only a legit place to find work but keeps good hard working people who may already be in a financially unstable situation from getting taken advantage of.

1️⃣: My first job was from a client who wanted to phish me…gave me suspicious links and tasks, while wanting to steal personal information. 2️⃣: Customer Service banned my account without telling me what triggered it. On Email appeal, they still didn’t tell me then either. I was a first-time user, identity verified, phone verified, and hadn’t even completed a job yet. 3️⃣: Just use GoTranscript or Upwork. Much more transparent and secure

After linking PayPal with it it charged me money. Don’t know for what email wasn’t clear. It’s supposed to be a free app but obviously not if I’m getting charged just for signing up and linking my card.

There were 55 listings total. Offers asking to use your address to ship items overseas. Offers needing help overseas. Did not see one legitimate-looking job offer in the entire list. Whoever created this site needs to police it or shut it down.
