MD feature doesn’t work

The motion detection feature doesn’t work on my iPhone. I signed up for the free trial on my iPad, and it worked fine. When I tried on my iPhone, it is not reflected in the app which continually bugs me to sign up, even after go through Manage Subscriptions and Restore Subscriptions. I’ve emailed to the company several times with no luck, the only that I got it was their automated email. BTW, I read and went through their FAQs, and there is no answer to this issue.

Easy to setup, and easy to use. One flaw that I have found is that if your password contains special characters the login will fail. I have not tried all special characters but the % if used in your password will make it fail. The user that stated he doesn’t want to provide admin credentials and they are required is incorrect. It can be an operator or guest account. I think the error message given during the login failure makes you assume it requires admin but it doesn’t. Good app and free!

Really great app - I use it with 3 of my foscam cameras. Suffered for a while with the one recommended by the manufacturer, but finally made the jump. Should have started with OWL on day 1. Beautiful interface - great software ... and can't beat free!

App used to work ok. Now only works sometimes even when I’m home on WiFi. Never works externally anymore. Don’t know what they changed. Guess they want everyone downloading their other version that has in app purchases.

The update today for the iPhone X and iOS broke my Cam connections. Message asking password and it fails, had to install another app. Used to work fine ?

This app is awesome. If you have a Foscam IP camera, you should definitely download. Super easy to use! Makes a great video baby monitor on the cheap.

Worked great for foscam never for Amcrest Reolink or others who have great phone apps Broke login probably special characters bug # seems to get broke by sloppy code for login and passwords. Too bad now boss makes me change 15000 phones for the company just when I got funding. Just tested yep required special characters break all existing logins with pound Foscam did that too with $ but Foscam now replaced by Amcrest in USA and much better for native English speaking persons who read l to r and Awesome free apps and Buggy but has promise if they test code better PC Looks like support for MPEG original old 2012-15 cams dropped got to use IP Cam Viewer to support all cams now

Since the last update only snapshots work on all my IOS devices. Can’t live view or move my cameras.
Owler app is garbage after last update

Garbage. It worked with all my Foscam cameras 3 updates ago. With each update fewer and fewer cameras worked. With the last update only 1 camera can be viewed now. My guess is that with the next update none of the cameras will be able to be viewed on this app. Time to look for a new ip camera app. Sad, this app got good reviews and seemed to work fine for a while but with each update it got worse instead of better. Too bad.
