I hate the new app! Why did you change something that worked? Reading the paper is hard work now.

Underdeveloped APP

Poor refresh rate. It seems that the newspaper has yet to commit the resources to be successful in cyberspace. Checkout the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette!

Now it won’t even open. App crashes every time I open it. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Rebooted phone. Tried on cellular and WiFi. The app just won’t load. Disappointing as it was a trusted app for a long time.

Constant Breaking opinion notifications

I’m deleting this app. I’m tired of the constant breaking opinion notifications. Half the time, it’s not even a story of importance. The Star Telegram is more like the Star Tattletale trying to make stories about well-known people sound shocking and appalling. Super bowl results? Breaking news. Their opinion of a player’s performance in a regular season game? Not breaking news.

This review is not necessarily about the app itself but Star-Telegram as a whole. As the major news media of Fort Worth you would think its writers and reporters would be more supportive and pro-Fort Worth. However, all you will read are articles bashing Fort Worth and how it should become more like this city or that city, especially articles by Bud Kennedy. I’m tired of this trolling and bulling of one of the greatest and friendliest cities in the country. We already unsubscribed; now I’m completely deleting this app and bookmarks from all my devices.

Way too may pop-up ads. I stopped reading the articles over the constant ads popping. Seemed to be a nice platform until the ads overwhelmed to screen. Goodbye, I’m going returning to my dependable news source.

This is a newspaper that is one sided and writes opinions rather than facts. They mostly tell half truths or give out false information.

Outstanding Rangers coverage.

FWST writers share a fans perspective and ask and answer topics that are on the fans minds. Only improvement would be to be more objective in evaluating performance of Rangers Mgr and GM. Especially when comments about not trying to win it all this year comes from GM. Would he have arrogantly said that if vote for new stadium financed by tax payers hadn’t already been approved? CMon Man! You can and should do better reporting and holding people accountable as your readers deserve it.
