This is the third time I am writing this review which functions as poorly as the app. After completing the review, I send and says the nickname is taken. Then, when I try to change the nickname it takes me out of this screen and I have to start over. The app has very poor functionality and is very user unfriendly. It also operates quite inconsistently. Hard to believe the Star Telegram allows such garbage or do they not care?

What's with the loud music when you open the app? I just want to stay up-to-date on news, not some music.

Getting to where I can't check the news because it plays loud music whenever the app is opened. Related to some ads, going to delete if this keeps up.

As other reviewers stated, there is some sort of malfunctioning ad that causes loud music to play. This happens sometimes when you load and others in particular articles. I understand the need for ads but I don't even know who is advertising so to point is completely lost.

Keeps crashing

Downloaded the update a few minutes ago; first message says "unable to load some content" and then it crashes. Uninstall and reinstall brings same performance. Who in the world puts this crap out?

Ok the latest app update is broken. The Home section won't even load. It just says "Unable to load content" on top bar. The app has crashed multiple times already while trying to use it. I still haven't figured out how to rearrange the sections. Please fix soon and I'll revise my review.

You managed to take a poor App and make it even worse. I'm not sure what the goal was, but I think I'll try something else like the Dallas Morning News or The NY Times. This is closer to being like the People Magazine App! As our Prez would say . . . Not Good!

I love this app! The writers at Star Telegram do a great job and this app is a good way to check in on local happenings. Highly recommend it
