The app has issues

The service is great and I am looking forward to more distillery events once the pandemic is over. The down side is that the app seems to have been written with the ability to ignore commands from the user. It also seems to be operating independently from my browser log in. Items that I purchased three days ago through a web browser, are still in my cart in the app and the app seems unwilling to let me remove the old items. The store credit switch in the cart screen is also ignoring my attempts to activate it.

The cart on the webpage doesn’t even sync with the cart in the app. That seems basic to me.

You guys make trying new liquor fun and have some great offerings that I wouldn’t normally see. However, your app needs an overhaul with a new layout as it’s not user friendly or easy to navigate. If you did this, then I believe it would seriously enhance the experience and make me want to shop more. I sometimes avoid browsing your app because it doesn’t flow well. Also, I’d like it if your quarterly bottle selection had a larger selection of liquors-not so whiskey heavy.

Got the quarterly subscription as a gift in June. Premium bottle selections haven’t “refreshed” since I signed up. When I do make a selection the first quarter it took over a month to receive due to logistics issues. Just ordered my second quarter in the beginning of September. Still haven’t received. Asked for a refund. Got $10 credit and lip service about their supplier issues. Friend of mine on the west coast has an entirely different selection than me and gets deliveries on time. Don’t get this if you live in the Midwest.
Great service so far, app is confusing

The app is way too much form over function. Can’t navigate back from anything, and it took me forever to figure out that your initial order was done in a different place than where you browse everything else (ended up ordering one extra sample on accident, which kind of is fine but kinda pisses me off because I didn’t realize this was separate from what I was supposed to get as part of the order). This confusion is all on them. That said the service seems interesting and I’m interested to get my first orders.
Finding access to quarterly order

Granted that I am new to the site.... but as I worked through the app, I was having a hard time trying to fill the quarterly order vs ordering more drams or bottles.

I’ve had Flaviar for almost a year now and really enjoying it. But the app definitely needs some work. Load times are pretty horrible, missing features and organization options, the search engine is not accurate or reliable and the app will frequently crash. I would like to browse bottles by the different whiskey types. I’d like to browse by different brands and distilleries. I’d like notification options when new whiskies are released. The search engine is just flat out terrible. I’ll look up one whiskey word for word and it won’t pop up. But then I’ll look up a different whiskey days later and the one I looked up is being recommended. Options for adding whiskies to my wish list just isn’t an option even though I have a wish available for adding too. And the load times can be so frustrating that I just close the app and google what I’m looking for. The app is overall very aesthetically pleasing. And the platform is definitely the start of something great. But this app needs some work. Give me more options. Make it more user friendly. Give me more browsing and discovering options.
