Well designed but buggy

I’ll admit that I haven’t played this a lot but it’s already made me upset. I was playing my first Normal game and the app crashes. I load back up and can’t get back into my game and I am told that not only is it a loss now but if this keeps happening they’ll temporarily ban me from playing. Yeah, first impressions do count, Square Enix. Grats. Oh yeah I was on WiFi, and nothing is wrong with my phone or my connection. Buggy app and the company blames me and says they are going to punish me. Edit: second time playing the game, again another crash and again another loss. Add insult to injury that the company even says on their support page that they will not respond to customer queries regardless of the situation. That being said, character designs are superb, action is phenomenal, the moba feel is just right. The game takes inspiration from Heroes of the Storm in that you gain power as a team and you don’t need to manage gear midfight (everything is done prior to the battle). It’s a nice change of pace and really does require solid team effort to pull off a win, even if a crash is the closest I’ve ever come to winning a game.

Needs new maps

Jahi spaloss

Great game, super fun but we need a new update with new maps and new monsters to tame after like 10 matches you get tired of the same things.

Crash

Itachihawk

Crash at startup. No loading or anything. I don't have the newest update, but it doesn't say it's required either. I meet requirements for update, and i'm on a iPhone 6s.

If League of Legends and Final Fantasy Had a Baby

SO much better than any other SE mobile game. All the flair, art, and smooth game play you expect of Square Enid with the traditional MOBA feel of LoL. Some elements are different as you don't shop in game but stock cards for abilities pre-game. Took a lot of stress off for me. I have had zero problems with crashing, perhaps because I'm playing the full version and not the beta. Just tons of fun. So great to play with people you are in the room with because you can strategize. Only downside is I would like to be able to play rank with custom lobbies like you can do in normal battles. Overall fantastic game and I can't wait for more agents!

I liked the whole game idea and its animated feel, even enjoyed it at first, but the character Hound is overpowered with his skill that freezes the entire opposing team to the point that by the time you unfreeze 90% of your life has been chipped away, now imagine that skilled used in a 3vs3 who ever is frozen first is wiped out, i kept trying to enjoy the game and fighting to at least remain in the top 50, but the game is coming to a point in which most in top 50 main Hound as their character, hell even top player right now is using Hound, i was pinned against him three times and all three times he was using Hound. Let me not even get to wolves as at least you can obtain them with any character and seem more fair. Overall Hound being all over the place while i main Baza and use Aragami makes it so much less enjoyable, I tried to enjoy it while fighting for top place with skill since its a team based game and you aren't allowed to choose your team makes it so you try to solo a match if you are teamed with the wrong people. Which seems to encourage solo playing since many fight over the wolves and they take a separate path instead of attacking in a team which is more effective. Its come to a point that even if its fixed regaining whats lost is almost impossible since the rewards seem to be on that previous ranked season.

Amazing

OK, first things first, this game has issues. There’s a few major bugs, lots of information that needs to be explained, and some things that need to be added and others balanced. But I still rate it 5 stars. Why? Because out of all games I’ve ever played, I’ve never felt like the staff pays as close attention to the community and their feedback as this one. They’re actually trying to fix all the issues and are working to make the game better, and listen to what the community has to say. That is something invaluable. Shout out to Joshua from Square Enix. The gameplay is simple yet fun. I heavily recommend anyone to try it out if they like any sort of competition. There is not a huge barrier between those that spend money and those who don’t, and matches are determined mostly by skill. The character designs are great and I hear that some more great ones are coming in the future! I can’t wait to see what the developers have planned, and I hope the community can continue to grow so more people can enjoy this game.

An already great MOBA with room to grow

Normally I’m not one for writing reviews, but I’ll give it my best shot. The first thing I want to point out is the pace of the actual matches. Most people won’t play MOBAs just because they don’t have a 20-30 minute (if not longer) block of time to play one. Here though, once the match is found, the game lasts 12 minutes tops, and even then I’ve never had a match end due to time. A lot more people can probably find 10 to 15 minutes to account for matchmaking and pregame. The second thing? The item system. Unlike in other MOBAs, the in-game shop is gone. You get items outside of combat, then have to build a deck to select BEFORE you get into the game. On one hand, it cuts out the confusion of having to figure out, “what do I buy in this situation?” On the other, its inflexible, and you’re all in on a strategy from the word “go”. While you can upgrade cards, the game feels more about collecting new cards and using your head to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Third, the roster of playable characters, referred to as “agents”. At post, there’s only 12 agents, but that small of a number means you can easily keep track of everyone and what they do. With that said, all agents have two forms with different abilities, stats, and strengths, effectively doubling the size of the roster. The characters can switch forms in the middle of a game, but the designs are so different that you can easily tell which form a character is in while still knowing who it is you’re fighting. With the game also being updated, you can’t help but wonder what agents, items, and (if I’m reading the news tab right) monsters will be added in future updates. There’s a lot of room for growth, and if this is done right, it might become a rival to other MOBAs.

Awesome!!!

This is officially my favorite game in the App Store to date. I love the simple controls and the flow of battle. The characters are interesting to look at and fun to fight with, my fave is Baza. I love the ability to transform on the battle field for a better advantage and all the monsters we can have fighting alongside us. The entire game as a whole is just absolutely amazing I don’t see how anyone can complain about it. If I had to ask for one thing it would be to try to come up with some kind of story mode we can fight through, it would be the icing on the cake. Great job you guys, keep up the good work!!!
