I get had the speed results than other speed tests including Google. I’m getting 50+ mbps on other multiple speed test but barley hitting 10mbps on this.

How to detect which device has which IP. Should not be to hard to show the mac address

This is an easy-to-use, but powerful network scanner app with a VERY intuitive user interface. OutSTANDing implementation!

I use this to see the IP address of my Raspberry Pi. Makes it so much easier because I take it with me traveling as a portable Plex Server. Useful because the IP address of the Pi can change at any time. This way I can either SSH into it or pull up Plex in my web browser without problem. Helpful when running updates or adding content via Samba through Wi-Fi. Best of all, free!

This version is a total retrograde movement. Worst ever. Connects to Mumbai India, forgot my network, can’t find my Fingbox which is online and has a blue light indicating correct operation. YUK! Don’t upgrade or download!

Started off, I really like this app and device, but now I can no longer trust the device and app to the point I plans to abandon the use of it. The only conclusion I can come to is they have charged and tweak it so much it’s no longer reliable. When scanning network it doesn’t identify nodes correctly. If you rename a node and refresh, all the nodes have the same name. It won’t delete old scans. That’s just a couple of items, I’m not going to report on everything. I’m just going to say I have reached the end of the rope and it’s going on the trash pile.

So, now they are asking me to pay a subscription for features I already had (and gone). I’ve backed them for the earlier Fingbox a couple of years ago but now I have to pay again (recursively) to keep the features. This guys are taking the same way as Wink Hub who are on the edge of the bankruptcy.

I had the old version and upgraded, taking advantage of the free month promo to try the new vulnerability test feature. After installation, when I clicked "Scan for Devices" or "Router vulnerability>Start test" the app crashed. I removed and reinstalled the app and gave all permissions, and I was able to complete the scan and the test. It exposed a Upnp vulnerability (that I know for a fact I disabled in the router homepage), one more device (Generic) on the network than should be there and three or four open ports each on localhost (127.0.0.1) and 192.168.1.1- things like Cisco STUN P1, 'socks', a license manager, and... a upnp-ftp connection. Now the app crashes again but I have all the info (and screenshots) I need to know my Altice-One firmware is totally compromised. I would give it 6 stars for the fact it even labels my Chromecast as Eureka Dongle, which I googled, and learned is a custom ROM from GitHub that I certainly didn't flash myself. AWESOME APP, I just wish I could read the crash logs or get it to run in a 'root sandbox' mode that can only be closed manually by ME, and not some foreign botnet admin trying to keep me locked in their websocket, or whatever the heck is going on. I'm a nobody, yet this app makes me feel special with all the zero-day exploits it reveals going on around me. Thank you! And thanks for the trial access to your very important new feature.
